Any Tips On Liks

im trying to finalyl catch these but im in ad luck
1st caught broke my rod
2nd cuaght snapped line
3rd broke rod again

fishing skil 100 +4
lu-shang rod + minnow
noddy + puffing ring

anything i cna do to improve my success ?

shoud li famr for the toruqe with +2 skill
get more guidl pts for better fisinhg skill +1 items ?
or sohudl i jsut levle woodowrking high enough so ican repair my rod on the spot ?

level up woodworking to craft your rods on the spot. Aside from that, buy what liks you can or ask an ebisu friend to help ya out.

For the love of God read what you type before submitting it. It's a *** mess.

I leveled woodworking specifically for repairing my rod when fishing for my Ebisu. If you have the gil you can level it up pretty fast. It really helped considering it would sometimes break my rod three times in a row, and I didn't have anyone to help me with fixing my rod. I can't imagine how annoying it would be to have to go back to Rabao to fix your rod every time it broke.

Regarding your fishing skill, I caught my liks when my fishing was under 90, so I'd say you're OK the way your are now. You probably had a streak of bad luck.

Obviously to make things go faster, you can buy some liks whenever there are some up on the AH.

When i was fishing for liks and gugs for ebisu, i didn't have woodworking leveled, and already had cooking at 94, so i bought 2 Lu Shangs, so had a total of 3 to go with the one i quested.

Always fished on whm and would tele altepa every time all 3 rods were broken, head to Rabao and do the quest to repair all 3 rods.

I was getting a fair amount of breaks on Liks with 100+4. I finally decided it might be a good idea to stop being a lazy *** and I went and got Advanced Support. After that I would get about 8-10 Liks before a break and ended up finally getting my Silk this way.
