Why would she be in the barn though and nobody told Rick and the others? Did she find her way there and decide to sleep there but didn't know?
And I'm surprised they killed her off like that in the comic wasn't she around for good?

my guess is the mom and darel knew about it and they put her there, doubt very seriously she wondered in the barn was locked after all.

remeber the scene with the mom and darel she said to give up and darel said ***! so im pretty sure the mom put her there.
I like that one part where the one thing went all like, "Braaaaaaiiiiiinnnnnssss..."
Or the girl was bit in the forest and she wandered near the farm and they caught her.

Despite how bad and gritty stuff got like say the Govnah did. It put some light hearted-ness into such a *** up world.

I don't think the mom put her there, just judging from how much she freaked out from when sofia came stumbling out of the barn. They were near the farm from their road camp, she probably just got bit and hershel/crew found her and brought her in.
That was sad :( and totally unexpected. In the comics she's one of the few people of the original crew that's still alive at the end of (hardcover) book 7.

The way I see it, Hershel knew it was one of their group (after they got there at least).. I mean it seems they knew everyone around that area. It kinda seems to me they were giving the group places to look just to keep them busy. Andrea says in that house in the previous episode "She was never here, was she?" Why would she say that? Unless someone suggested it. or something >.> /ramble

I think the deal with those houses it that they saw them on the map, or someone in hershels group said they were there (forget which) and they thought they should check it out because it seemed like a good place for her to hide and be safe. Pretty sure that comment was more pertaining to the fact that the community was way too over-run for her to have gone there.
Now I have to kinda wonder if Hershel didn't know that was her.. he knew they were looking for a little girl, and that there was an unknown girl in their barn. At the very least he could have said "hey come check this out, maybe it's her". Maybe they wanted to "protect" her because they knew she'd just be shot?
Well, there's the possibility that they didn't put two and two together. The fact that the zombie girl is the girl they're looking for. Also, the possibility that they didn't tell them intentionally because so they don't give up hope.
Also have a small urge to go back to older episodes with zombies in the barn and watch more closely to see if they show her D:

To be truthful I didn't see you come up with anything. Also you know how cliche horror series/movies can be. It could have been one of those stupid "ZOMG don't go in there, you are gonna die! Oh she went in there and died.. oh well.."
It's not like the Glenn seen the zombies at first. Now think of it the little girl seen them then panicked and fell in there?
Hershel's group could have found her though.

I was really surprised when Sophia came out of the barn.. didn't expect it at all... i expected Hershel's wife or someone really close to their family where it would get emotional... far worse with Sophia though lol >_<
Also wow shane wtf, started off really liking him in the beginning... even said ok its understandable with Otis... but really man? Wow. I'm amazed Dale and Shane both walked out of that forest alive... i was almost positive someone was going to do something.
God dammit i don't want to wait until February 12th :(

I don't see why everyone is hating on Shane, he is one of my favorite characters. He is in it to survive.
I don't think anyone could slip Sophia in the barn. I also don't think she found the barn and got bit on the inside. Also, woulden't she either look little more damaged or of been completly eaten if she was alive when she entered?
Also, I'm a little bothered about the time line of this subject. How many days were there between Sophia's seperation from the group and Carl gunshot wound via Otis? A day, maybe two?
