I use Ascalon. Doesn't have higher damage or help in any way, but I've only ever seen one other player with it, and I'm pretty sure it's the only blue squigly g.sword WAR can use.

Whenever I need the greatsword on warrior... i just bust out the trusty old Algol. Not like you're gonna do anything amazing with a GS anyway, and it reminds me of the good old days when Cerb was still camped like hell.

I just use an Algol for Red Procs.. It looks cool and it's free + gets the job done. End of story.

Is there a GS besides Etourdissante that war can use that would be more benificial to Resolution? Since war cant use any magian GS it kinda leaves you with nothing exept making a Ragnarok. What options are then w/o doin relic?

This I use the Etourd personally while I am deciding whether to waste more of my life making a rag... while trying to (slowly) finish my 95 ukon. Under mightystrikes I havnt really seen much difference in terms of WS dmg against a rag user but what you get hurt on severly is the DoT. When rag procs its a significant boost on your DoT phase that simply cannot be ignored also the additional acc is pretty feckin win..... If your doing short zergs sure use the Etourd or jing they will do a respectable job with good set up.
Jingang Greatsword is kind of a "starter" weapon for 99 WAR's and DRK's who don't have an Ukkon or Rag ~yet~. Really easy to get a 6-hit and eventually a 5-hit while building gear / WS sets and slowly getting currency or Abyssea NM kills. That's how I've always seen it anyhow.
If your plan is for a 99 Ukkon then I wouldn't bother with a Rag unless your REALLY want one. Mul is the only place where there really is a difference.
