I'm hoping that they have the mega-deflation of the late 75 days fresh in mind, the one they likely introduced haks to stop.
Hopefully, they plan to control the gil supply through the further introduction of gilsinks, like they've done with VW weakeners and meeble burrows, as opposed to fishing nerfs.
On top of that, Haks are harder for RMT to take advantage of. If your cleaver is banned, you can make a new one in three days. The same cannot be said for an ebisu.
Then we have the fact that haku gil is largely limited by the minnow supply, so it is a semi-controlled gil influx, as opposed to crour, which there was no limiter on.
With all that said, I still wouldn't be surprised to see a nerfbat in our future. :_;

Ok i forgot prices fluctuate npc to npc. i was consistently selling for 10495 and now it's 10295 from another one across town.

Dyna doesn't bring new gil into the economy. Therefore, if gil deflates, the amount you can make with dyna will deflate with it. The price of haks will stay static no matter what (barring a nerf, of course.
Where are you getting a 2 mil a day limit on haks? The limit is how many bots you bring.

That said, once you go beyond 2 accounts, minnows really start to become a pain.
I've never once openly admitted to anything, and even if I did, it wasn't on this forum.

I don't ever see RMT getting into fishing Haks just because like you said, Ebisu is a pain in the *** to get, not to mention minnows... For that reason alone I don't see them nerfing it.

Everyone is under the impression they nerfed blinkers and abyss gear due to rmt. I'm more under the impression they did it to stabalize the economy. It only makes sense that they will at some point nerf Haks as well.

Rmt are cleaving daily they make far to much to stop. i highly doubt they will put the effort in to get ebisu i feel haku will be 100% fine for a long time lol :)

Incedentally, even if they nerfed Haks up to 50%, I think that in the context of the blinker nerf, it would still be a net increase in purchasing power.

They don't need to directly nerf Haks. They need GMs to do frequent sweeps of the coast in Beauc asking people to walk straight lines and recite the alphabet backwards and ***, like holiday DUI checkpoints.

Anyone fishing haks are not fishing for 1 hr a day hince the word fishbot. I fail to see all the cheaters logic rmt's are the problem because they cheat more leave my 6 fishbots alone. Call me butthurt w/e i dont care haks need nerfed.
If youre this butthurt about people using cheats in FFXI these days, then you're playing the wrong game. I'd say at least 95% of the remaining playerbase uses Windower, a cheat according to the ToS. There isn't a damn thing you can do about it either, so suck it up Princess.

There's really nothing more they can do that would kill fishbotting without killing fishing itself. GMs definitely do sweep Beauc periodically though.

So confused... you aren't playing the game 'as intended' either... that seems to have been his whole point about windower.

They do but what does that really do? They send you a /tell and only need a reply to be turned away, So the botters turn thier volume on max so it rings when they recieve a /tell idk. All im saying is anything you farm non stop (well aleast 200 a run) that npc's so high is a bit much.

Huh? I use windower? Is that your point? I do not I'm a legit non PC player.
