How often do Bugbear Masks and Moblin Masks get hooked in Oldton? Also what works better for items again, Robber or Rogue? I completely forgot, it's been years.
Thinking of crafting my own lures as well but there just isn't enough Flint Stones on AH at all times.

I am currently level 17, and my skill ups have disappeared. I have tried the quifm ice pond, ferry, davoi, and have been getting nothing. Now I am using lu shangs in ssg with crayfish balls I am getting neo bites like they havent ever eaten I actually got .3 yesterday and I am just wondering if this is normal and I hit a wall or if there is something better for me to try?
Btw idk about hooking them but the bug mask drop like crazy.

not often - rogue is better for items iirc but not by much. masks may be better with rogue/robber.

pretty sure yellow globes at qifim stop at 17. i would shoot for nebs on the boat till 26.
Had gotten fishing torque the other day /joy and 43k/95k on serpent rumors. Have both items and at 87 fishing. Is there anything I should plan for after I get ebisu? Gear/ki/anything :3
apron and boots(if you want it) but apron for sure rest is meh not needed since you know...you know... dont need longer time reeling in a fish from mooching KI since you know.... you know...
oh also puffin ring and noddy ring are good to have
One hour fishing, 3 Bugbear Masks. Think it's better farming them at this point.

I actually used a sinking minnow, it only targets Armored Pisces and Bugbear Masks. And yeah of course im not saying im getting 100 masks in 1 hour, but if i fish over night just masks its enough imo.
Seeing that the Fish Ranking fish caps at 100 I think I may just fish those up while fish rank is going on.
Worst case scenerio even if I don't win in the ranking I can still get 100 from them :P
90 atm lol
Also how reliable is the "Reduce chance of fishing up items" on the apron?
Saving up GP to get that next potentially....
Another thing that crossed my mind.
Expert is 101-110 right?
Then what do you turn in for Guild Points?
I notice on the Guild Pattern page there isn't a column for that.
So was unsure if it still used veteran or there wasn't one shown...

I dont know about the significance of the apron, but I know that Expert uses the same GP items as Veteran.
Does 110 with torque and all that make a drastic difference on line breaks with Haks? Seems I get just as many breaks as I do catches at 104+4, wondering if this is just bad luck. Went 6 line breaks in a row last night at one point.
i get irritated with haks if im getting much less than 2 haks per minnow. I suspect 6 levels would make a noticeable difference but im sure other people would disagree and testing of that would be kinda time consuming

Nope. I averaged 7 to 10 haks an hour at level 100, and.. 7 to 10 haks an hour at 110(+5 Mega + fishing gear)

It's random I have 110 & (Megamog + waders etc) and I'll get 6-13 per hour.
I guess I had my expectations too high then, friend was telling me the average on Haks is 12-15 an hour. 8-10 seems about average for me right now, thought my skill was making the difference.

Fisher's torque was to see if it made it easier to reel in. Contrary to what everyone told me, when you have the other items also, I no longer get the "you don't know how long you can hold this on the line" message as fast as I used to. Patience is one thing and I know others have had a hard time with this also, but I don't think anything in the fishing world is as big of a pain in the *** as matsya's. Handing 174 of them in for nothing is a a major kick to the balls so I feel for anyone higher in numbers and worse with luck than I.

Ok completely onto a different topic has any1 ever went after the black ghost fish outside nashmau i've caught a few with minnow and sinking minnow's but the bite rate is horrid i just wanted a different fish to catch for a bit for skill ups so if any1 know of a different spot with a better bite right or better bait can ya give me heads up
