I posted here before when I was 0/1 on both Gugs and Liks. Just wanted to post an update, after a long few months and a lot of gil...

Does anyone know the best place and bait/rod combo to fish coral fragments?

It depends on what bait/lure you're using.

If you can't catch any fish, and I mean any fish, then that is a good start. Also the less items the better.

Now what pace is the absolute best? I'm not sure.

Was wondering what to get next Fishing body, fishing hole map or signboard. Will get all 3 but need more points. On another note im like 0/800+ on lik. This game does not like me.

I'd personally go body > signboard (to get it out of the way) > map

Ok, yes hella grimms/nebs/breams. Anyone know a different bait that will work? Shrimp lures seems to be a no go.

ok so ummm ive gone back to fishing and i still cant tell what bait to use for Abaia's... im using minnow's since it only targets dark bass and abaia's now heres the problem lol.... out of like 50 /fish i hook like 5 Abaia and then out of those 5 i catch 1 :( how can i increase this suckyness lol i have stall+smock+noddy+puffin and an ebisu


edit: oh and the other 45 are normally dark bass

Abaia is a hard fish to catch, even with all the equipment, furnishings, ebisu, ect.

You will not catch very many in an hour of casting.

I feel you the last 2 days sucked, we had a good 4-5 in a row before that though. Ebisu this sunday!

.3 is crazy at that lvl, feels goood I bet. i'm working on my mule atm, he's fishing 48. never get .3 heh

i think you can only get .3 on legendary fish yeah? that would explain why he got it on abaia and you've never seen it 1-48.

Didn't see any 0.3's from 0-100. Even the 1 time my rings procced a double skillup it was double 0.1's... /sigh

That's how I did it. stall + big one + stock + net and lure gives you mega mog too btw if that hasn't been mentioned, haven't tried it with less. I just need to finish map now and I am done. Too bad I'm ultra lazy.

Woot! never have to talk to zaldon ever again. my mule went 1/200~ish on liks but 1/600+ on gugs lol. If they ever allow us to fight any npc...i would beat zaldon sensless. now i just need to finish guild points with her and ill have my other ebisu!

woot got a really lucky week, started with brown boxes farming since we got Windy Boxes Kupowers on Odin after months again. Builded Prowess for 2 days, then killed only too weak stuff, probably opened over 100 boxes, then when i was about to leave for an event, the last browny finally had the torque lol. Went to Maze this weekend, and again when i was about to leave, the rope popped up^^

Went to Selby yesterday morning to check if some mule had Gugrus, was lucky and got the item finally. Too lazy to count, but i think i bought 150-200 Gugrus.

Liks i catch usually myself and don't buy them, but after i got the first item, i checked another mule who had some Liks for 17k, i bought 7 and got the 2nd item on the 3rd Lik LOL, both items within 5min!!! How lucky and it was still before tally, so YaY finally Ebisu in my hands! Think i traded 200-300 Liks in the end.

But i think i'll keep my Lu Shang for a while to get my WW to 80, think i used 6-7 Stack crystals on fixing it while fishing for Liks, but i got only 3 lvl on WW :(

Still need 350k more GP for the Signboard and whole map, got lazy after i got all KIs and Waders, Smock and Stall and didn't do any GP last 2-3 months :/

Also getting my crafts up to make my own "The Big One"

dose anyone know for certian if the nashmau/white gate ferry lure prices are linked with the selbina/mhaura lure prices?
