When the Fisher's Torque was 1st released, I spent a full week and a half every evening after work (~7 hours per night) and that entire weekend doing GOV in Outer Horutoto Ruins. I never left the zone to keep my prowress from resetting.

Four times I spent 7 days straight in that zone refusing to leave so I wouldn't loose prowess. I hate chests.
A low drop rate I can deal with. When you finally get it you get it unless someone is dumb and doesn't past whatever else is in the treasure pool and it falls to the floor.
With chests, you might get it. You might get it just once, or 25 times. You don't know what you have and when you fail on a chest you can't help but to think, "I bet that was the torque I just lost...".
I hate them. I'd rather deal with a 0.1% drop rate than deal with caskets. I'm serious, I'll take 0.1% drop rate any day over caskets.
I got sooo lucky with mine. Finally went in to do it, got page and 3rd kill of page brown chest drops. I think it cant be this easy. Then bam easy combo which leads me to think crap inside but was torque.

Fisher's rope on my equip list tab shows for 9/29/11. And yes I know my overall non-fishing gear is lacking, but I'm slowly working on it. ^_^

Interesting note, I have 41 Gugrusaurus left over, when I had 42 Lik left over last time. Also anyone on siren want them for ebisu? I'll hang on to them over night and check my PM's tomorrow. Can send me a tell too if you want. I'll do 65% of the AH price.
Love that I didn't buy 1 this time around. Made his ebisu in... 7 days maybe. It took me around 4 months to make mine with just a lu shang and over 60 rod breaks. Ebisu makes a hell of a difference.

wish i could say the same but today is day 1 of my aegis and i make 1m a day off hakuryu's and ever morning i do dynamis right before i go fishing. so i see alot of fishing in my future til i finish shield and maybe sword or gun... (save me)
It's not unrealistic to catch a 100 fish a day fishing 20 hours a day.
i dont sleep much but i could swear i do 100 fishes. unemployed and no school= too much time in my hands + addiction etc etc
pretty much wake up brush teeth do things i need to do before anything else like look at bills i owe and pay em, then i start fishing i leave character on cliff edge and my laptop sleeps next to me, only time i stop fishing during the day is for dynamis, if friend in RL wanna hang out, friends in game wanna do something, and then regular food bathroom breaks, so yea i believe i do 100 2 sets of 50

Gives generally useless clue.
Does it count as a guess? Like if you have 5 guesses left would it take 1 away?
