A friend and myself were debating which feet is better for tp'ing in on nin? He feels strongly that the Eurus' Ledelsons destroy the iga +2 and I value his opinion but i'm just not seeing it.

It breaks down to:
+8 agi +8 parry haste 4% store tp-3
vs
+5 str +5 dex haste 4% enhances tactical parry and if I am correct about af3 proc 1% dual wield when proc (probably totally irrelevant)

Now he thinks E boots beats iga inside and outside abby as he says his tp gain is faster based on increase parry skill (+8 and agi boost)
but that seems impossible considering the enhance tactical from the iga 2x the tp return (2% >> 4% according to wiki) for parry so for that point to be correct he would litterally have to parry 2x as often w/ +8 agi and +8 parry skill

aside from that wouldn't str+5 and dex+5 smash on +8 agi outside abby?
Am I just missing it completely? Please thoughts from the Ninja's

He's wrong. If anything they're just lowering your DPS, not only because of the -STP but because you're adding 4 eva and will thus get hit less if you have hate. Only consideration would be the potential reduction in Utsu casting frequency but it's not enough here.

Also didn't somebody parse the whole AGI/parry thing a while ago and find it to be complete ***?

Speaking of enhancing Tactical Parry, is it worth swapping in Iga kyahan +2 for Issekigan, I've been using the new JA on Dynamis MNKs it freaking rocks

the set is 5% but someone was telling me it is additive not activated so 1% per peice of +2 but I could be wrong something about people procing +2 set bonus before the whole sets were available (between scars and heroes)

5/5 set bonus is 10% OAT on the offhand, but you shouldn't be TPing in 5/5. Partial set bonus + better stats makes mix/match sets easily superior.

augmented kitty pants + iga feet, or iga legs + usu feet are your best options.

Personally I use Head, legs, and feet +2 for TPing in and use Ninja Chainmail / Dusk Gloves +1 for TP. Been debating switching to E Ledelsens for tping in until my parrying skill is capped. This way I can skill up parrying / gain some tp from Tactical Parry.

(I'm aware I'm over haste cap, but I do like the + attack on dusk gloves +1)

Switch your pants to byakko's (preferably augmented).

The correct answer is Byakko's Haidate or Usukane Sune-ate.
