The only thing I got today was +$2.94 due to verifying my credit card.

got my bill for 11.95 then 1 dollar service fee...

It's every 30 days now, no longer the end of the month. If you activated or reactivated your ID around this time then it sounds right.

Why rage-quit? You could have just changed payment methods. There is at least one other way to pay.

Lol, just use paypal and skip c&b. Sure you overpay a lil each month but you'll have a free month every now and then.

Buy Crysta with PayPal. Thats what I did anyway.

It's with Crysta. Use UltimatePay then click next. The next page will have an overlay that gives you two options: Paypal or use their Ultimate Game Card you can buy at stores.

I just use paypal to buy crysta atm, don't want to screw around with C&B~

I'm not sure if that option is available in every country, but it works here in the US.

The $11.95 is the basic FFXI service fee. The extra $1.00 is for your main character as it says here. Just wasn't noticeable before because the monthly fee for FFXI was $12.95, and $1.00 extra per mule. So now instead of $12.95 monthly it's $11.95 monthly +1 per char. I could be wrong, but that's how I read it. xD

I'd prefer to stick to Crysta.

I have a Click and Buy question. I haven't seen anyone refer to it yet so wondering if it is a common request from them. I was told that for security reasons (which they wouldn't tell me what they were) I would have to provide a copy of my driver's licence and a recent utility bill. Anyone else having problems with that? I am some what cautious since so many have said Click and Buy are crooked. I appreciate any assistance given.

They never asked me for any of that, seems odd.

I was not asked for this either. I have read someone who had this problem was asked to do so because they had opened an account once before, which set off security checks when attempting to open the second account, to rule ut identity theft.. Either that or your region is flagged as a high risk area?

@ Twigg I set my acct as United States. When I was told there was a security block on it I asked why but wasn't told. I am hesitant to email my photo id (they said driver's licence or passport) and a current utility bill. Of course since my original post I have seen a $2.40 charge show on that card. Guess I will have to wait and see if they actually require me to send it!

Went ahead and just went to the store and bought the game card and used that to buy Crysta! Sooo much easier and I know where my money is going! Of course I will have to do it every month.... would rather that then have problems with questionable companies. Thanks for to those of you who responded to my questions.

What card is this? And is it available at like walmart or something? Or do I need to go to gamestop?

Hmmm. Just had the same issue as OP out of nowhere. They cancelled my XI accounts and when I go to reactivate them and I submit the payment info...it just reloads the same page with the info spaces blanked out. Tried to just do an overall payment update but it says I cant do that without an active service account. Anyone else having this problem?

Tried it across three browsers to see if that was the issue, but I get the same results. No error message, nothing. Just reloads the same page over and over again.

I'm not having that problem right now with either my account or my husband's...I DO have a question though...

OK so my husband and I share an SE & C&B account but we have separate ffxi accounts.

My husband's account was reactivated and paid for on the 2nd, or 3rd one of those days.

MY account was reactivated and paid for last Friday.

SO, my question is, will they bill us separately? I mien, if they do it the way I want them to, they will bill 30days from my husband's activation AND THEN 30 days from my activation.

All of the "jargon" in the site is a little difficult for me to understand so I was just wondering if anyone knew if that's how they're going to do it or if they'll end up billing for BOTH accounts at the same time?

It makes sense to me. I'd imagine they would bill separately since they are different XI service accounts.

What doesn't make sense is that my BF's account (on the same card but a separate C&B account) works just fine, but when I try to update my C&B payment info to the same card, OR to a completely different card, it tells me that the cards are already linked to another C&B account.

Am I missing something? Or can you only have one C&B account per card? If that is the case than its incredibly stupid.

On topic, I think they may charge you on the spot, due to it's every 30 days now from wince you began using Crysta, but I'm not 100% sure, someone will eventually come in and clarify.

Just got off live chat with se and they will not be charging me from aug1-17 from what they say , i will be charged my crystia at reactivation and thats it , good to go for 30 days ,hope that helps anyone else wondering about this themselves

the card I was talking about is an "Ultimate Game Card" $20.00 I purchased at Walgreens. They are also sold at places like 7-Eleven. The website for the card has a listing of places you can buy the card. http://www.UltimateGameCard.com Once I purchased a card ($20 each) I went to the SE site clicked buy Crysta then when it asked how you want to pay click UltimateGameCard VERY easy!
