Cats do that. People tend to give cats less credit in the emotional department than they deserve. My cat is basically attatched to me at all times to the extent that when I go to work she sits by the front door until I come home and if I go on holiday I can't even sit down when I come back or she will be on my lap in seconds. (with claws dug in even when I try to stand up...)
Edit: Forgot to say, my cat is a house cat, she refuses to go outside.

Yeah my cats are inside cats too. I can open the door and they'll just stand at the threshold, peeking out, wont take a step further.
They are quite comfortable as inside cats :3
And are constantly on myself or my roommate. One of them likes to jump in my lap over and over, even when I put her down, until I eventually give up and she settles down in my lap .-.

Cats also tend to give extra attention to those who dont' give them any. Don't know why, but they just do.

I have 5 cats that follow me around lol. this is my exact situation, there have been multiple times that i've nearly dumped boiling water on them when fixing food, since they like to run around my legs while i'm making food. and i've also had my face meet floor plenty of time because of them.
also one is half blind so she likes to hover around peoples legs so she knows where she's going.

That was clearly her intention in the first place...
1. Turn on the cat-sugar on Tiger
2. Get him to leave the door open
3. ???
4. Profit!!
??? = Poop all over the place, btw. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Buy a litter tray and some kitty litter, the mommy cat should teach them to use it. Don't position it near where they eat though as they won't eat and poop in the same place if they can help it.

I barely have enough money to feed myself lol. Like I said those are my uncle's cats. What he does with them is on him. I just put food/water in the dish on days he's not home (since he does travel).
I'm fine with them pooping in the hall lol I'm never in the hall and I'll be damned if I'll be the one to clean it up (which is why I don't want them in my room cause if they popped in here then I'd have to be the one to clean it up

Ok get a box, cut it so it is no more that 3 inches high around, fill it with garden soil after lining it with newspaper, should work just as well, and best of all it's free :)

Come on bro man up. I actually have a pretty bad nose. I won't smell it at all. At one point, we had 3 dead rats in the attic. My uncle couldn't go in the garage w/o gagging, lol. I'd go in there, notice a slight odor and just continue about my business.
Smell won't *** w/ me at all lol.

Anything would work, even shredded paper or gravel. They like to bury their poop. I used soil when I was trying to teach my cats to go toilet outside and it worked perfectly.

This was a few years ago when we had a pretty bad rat problem.
I'd used to be able to open the wall in the bathroom, set a trap, close the wall, and have the trap snap in less than a minute. Caught 5 rats in half an hour this way at that time.

My cat never buries his poop.. i wish he would .-.
He just digs around in the litter box forever, then poops on the highest mound of litter and then scratches on the walls/toilet/everything around the litterbox for a while <.<

I couldn't have my dog in my 1st apartment so I got a cat from the pound.
He's a badass little mfkr but he wont leave me alone most times,
trying to jump in my lap and follows me around non-stop.
Best thing I did was buy a enclosed litter box, it doesn't totally neutralize the stank
but compared to the open ones its fanfkntastic.
The cat loves you Tiger, embrace it! lol.

My uncle keeps talking about how he wants to get rid of it(now them), has been for months and never done so, but don't rly feel like getting attached to some pets he potentially is getting rid of in the near/distant future.

showing dominance
Ok, so my uncle has this cat. I don't interact w/ it much. I put food/water in its bowl when my uncle isn't home to do so.
My uncle's dog was at his dad's house for the past 9 months, came back a week ago and doesn't mess w/ the cat at all, but just sits in the living room all day.
The cat had kittens about 3.5-4 weeks ago
I go to California for 2 weeks (a week prior to dog return if that has anything to do with it) and come home yesterday.
Now this cat won't leave me alone. I thought it just wanted food/water so I checked but it already had some. The kittens have been moved upstairs 3 rooms + a bathroom that aren't my room up here so there' somewhere around there.
Now the mom cat camps outside my bedroom door scratching the door and runs in every time I open the thing (easy to get her out though because I just walk out and she follows me out) and follows me around the house wherever i go, keeps walking in front of my feet, trips me every time. Can't even get to the microwave w/o it jumping on the counter and blocking my path.
wtf is wrong with this cat? Do I need to take her up to the Chinese restaurant?
