So is there alot of ways to make gil with woodworking? To be honest i only lvl'd it to support myself with ammo + shihei but is there anyway we can still make big gil items even after the update where the HQ staves are cheap now, I wanna know if there is a nice steady income for wood workers and if there are any big gil items i should try making
There are some furnishing you can make through synergy that sell, HQ staves will stil turn a profit albeit a small one. There is lots you can make for a small profit, not really any big gil items. Panetiere is the best i can come up with atm.

Not something to mass make, but cursed haidate and kabuto -1 still sell decently well if you have 110 WW because of augments.

honestly... I more than break even selling gold box items (aug.weapons / equipment, scrolls, pop items, NM popsets that i don't need) to the point that unless I was trying to buy every piece for a Relic / Mythic / Empy.
I'm not saying you can't make money with woodworking, or even that you can't make 1mil+/day just there are what i would consider easier ways to do it.

Make shihei with which to solo/duo Dynamis.

Duo dynamis is good cash right now, 500-750k a run split easy.
Merc gear is the big ticket too, I make 10~ mil a week consistently. And Shihei if you fish your own alch mats, is over 800% profit on my server. thats a pretty huge cash maker.

and yah i just wanted to know people's imputs im trying for Gjallarhorn for my brd, im always on brd for ls events so i might as well get one :P was going to get gun for rng but im planning on getting the emp and im not really big into guns over bows xD

Think they mean mercing it out brink, as in doing dyna/whatever and letting people tag along for stuff they need. You know how people on our server like to pay for everything.

I know that this is a large Necro but espcially now with the changes to Ranger, is there a good reason to take this past 70 now in terms of money making? Trying to figure out if i want to take Alc or Wood to 110, was planning on wood for my own arrows and to sell but now that arrows will be selling slowly I'm sure their profit will drop as well.
I wouldn't take it past 70, you can still make a lot off shihei with WW 70 and even more with Alchemy 110.
I don't get much use out of 100 ww outside of grinding shihei/bolts. With the alternatives available I wouldn't take ww any higher than you have to for other crafts.
