My issue with colouring is lineart too, it's so messy when im done :3
And i do my colouring usually with a mouse.. i dunno why xD
(I have a tablet which i use for lineart)

Tablets are cool and all but I see lots of people do really cool things with a mouse! D: Some of the best things I have seen are without a tablet! Its all about being creative and having fun. Just let loose and have a good time with it!
