I don't get it. That quest is easy. Just use your main hand when you off hand get's tired.

Seriously though, if your having trouble completing, just do what i did:
I just practiced using (Hasty Hand) and (Tender Touch) on a (Polearm) or (Cockatrice).
You'll know your ready when you learn (Full Thrust) and (Burst).
