Fresh Install Torent Update.

Ok so I have been slowly updating my main PC for a while adding torrents the way described on BG with no problem for the last few updates.

Tonight I do a fresh install on my wife's PC. Download all of the updates off of BG's source and place them in the proper folders.

The issue now is that I am staring at a 20 hr download from SE's ***and it is not recognizing the files.

Ideas?

Did you do a Check Files beforehand?

Yes, then went in and replaced the files it was creating with the ones from BG.

Is that the correct way?

Well, during some time when I used to play back in the day, I downloaded an update separately, pasted them over to the folder, THEN did check files.

After that, it'll assume files are updated and won't re-download everything.

If you don't do what FoxFire said then the updater doesn't notice the file if I remember correctly.

OP let it run overnight, and it finished up.


BTW, I'm not sure what BG has posted, but I have all the direct downloads on my site.
