Abyssea Exp = Bad Player?

Just reply me, can you enjoy exp pt in abyssea for the GAMEPLAY? its fun?

Only thing I kinda miss was the parse-wars on greater colibri.

I find opening chests pretty relaxing, and far more enjoyable than fighting colibri.

Coming from a person with gimp subs, 3 not useful jobs, and wears pink gear. Classic

It's getting the annoying part out of the way, so you can actually do more fun things. Questing, Missions, and NMs were and are the fun parts of the game IMO.

Colibri was already the begening of the ***, but it was better than Abyssea exp pt.

What i would like back in exp pt is a real teamwork, a tank, a healer, and no afk/leecher members etc... and kill ***with skillchain and magic burst faster than spam 100% TP WS like a stupid bot and run to a dominion NPC after each 5 mobs.
Maybe its an utopia but thats what i would like to see

And like I said if you like win exp just for win exp so, Abyssea pt are perfect.

Are you saying there were other reasons to exp, than to get exp?
Levling jobs/meriting were some of the worst parts of the game, but it had to be done to do the more fun stuff in the game.

so. as always... leeching/burning/buying accounts doesn't make a bad player. a bad player makes a bad player. From what I usually see, people who say leeching makes bad players are usually the bad players themselves... or they take years to do what the rest of us can do much quicker. Bad players are bad because they either don't know any better or think their way is the only way that's right, this game changes a lot, accept that the old way isn't the best anymore and learn the new one. When someone doesn't know what they're doing, but actually wants to learn how to play their job or whatever, help them... granted, there are always those people who think their way is right and only their way. Or the ones who say "it's my game i'll play how i want to" (go do it somewhere away from me then... <_<)

I wanna say when one of my friend's leeched blu just a couple weeks ago he was capped (or really close) with blue magic skill when he dinged into 90. He got all of his spells within a week, and really only played for an hour or two each of the days that he was doing it. Granted, I don't think the job's geared well enough to use yet, but you've gotta start somewhere.

When I leeched my... nin (on accident... was lvling it as a sub and fell asleep. Woke up and it was 75 so i finished it), mnk, whm (i think i leeched like 4 whms...) I didn't actually play any of them until they were geared well enough that they were usable (my mule's blm is sitting at 75 waiting for gear, then i'll go skill it up and make it somewhat usable). I think there's a picture of my mnk from when it just had hit 80 or something, was terrible lol, but now it's geared better than the person who posted the pic <_<...



tl;dr stop complaining about leeches because half the time they're probably better than you.

You enjoy more a reward that was hard to get than the same one if you get it for free that what i think.

Its like finish a video games with or without cheatcode, not the same pleasure imo.

We dont talk about the same ***, I dont talk about good or bad player (Even if its the main subject), i only talk about enjoy the gameplay of a game or not.

well, i guess i can see that. but, to me.. this game doesn't really start until endgame. Leveling was really boring, even before abyssea.

Well, then... as i just posted, this game was boring while leveling, Endgame is much more fun.

I kinda agree with this, but..
I capped merits for the 4 jobs I had pre-abyssea, and it felt _really_ good when I were finally done.
But the road to get there was long and boring as hell.

For someone who has only been back to the game for about a month i think im doing prety good.

Pink gear or not... THF is not my main job. BLM is my main. Of couorse the 2 teal pieces would make you lol as well so idk. Yes my /nin is 1 lvl under but i havnt touched that job since '05 so its w/e.

Could say the same about leeching. I doubt many ppl just walk up to an alliance of people they don't know and get let in and afk.
They either have to key for their leeching, pay for it, or if they know they person, have helped or done something with or for them in the past.

Yes i think, the time you spend to care about something is the only thing that made this thing different for you than the next one.

I agreee with this new EXP mode is nice too since it was a little boring, but what we loose if the fear of the dead now a day, its not a nice feeling but we need all for a world dont you think?

Now i hope SE prepare some cool new HNM for lv95 and 99, Voidwatch are not so fun I think...

Your thf gear is terrible. If that is any indication of how you gear your jobs, your blm is probably just as terrible. Walahra turban and raparee harness.

And that 1 lvl on nin will give you another teir of dual wield. And if you have only been back for 1 month by are you complaining about abyssea xp. you obviously havent got to experience it very much. And yes blm is worthless outside of procs.

That DW tier will mess up the tp gain. We learned about this earlier in another thread.

I never complained. Its the FFXI comunity that is complaining. I just made this thread to ask WHY ARE THEY COMPLAINING?

So far ive ended up watching ppl do nothing but bash eachother and call ppl bads, noobs etc. Now i am on here defending my own equip lol. The FFXI comunity has gone downhill so far since ive been away and the way most of you act in this thread is more than enough proof. I'm done posting in this thread and im done reading everyones put-downs and name calling. I think the thread should have been over after the first few posts... HATERS GONNA HATE
