Not really an option on some things, how do you stay uncharmed on the Lich skeleton in Attowha? I had a bunch of gimps trying to kill me while they were farming seals off hound.

I laughed so hard I was in tears, I got to admit though, theres nothing like stealing an NM, it's so entertaining becuz you know that other party is madd as hell & they all blaming each other for screwing up.

Also, unless you are referring to the super old way of exping, you could lvl sync your way all the way up to 75 in the dunes, qufim, yuhtunga. Really learning a lot this way, lemme tell you.
I think it depends on the person. I'll admit, I have a few jobs I burned. I don't claim to be good at them, I don't want to take them to events, they are gimp. I don't have a brown belt for my monk, My Ninjutsu on nin is capped for 45. I don't plan on playing these jobs and if I ever did, I'd go and fix things like that. Does this make me a bad player? I'd like to think no, because I know I'm not useful in those situations on those jobs and I wouldn't use them.

That reminds me of a few weeks ago when I was running through Mis coast and saw a wiped PT with an unclaimed CC, so I grabbed it and offered them ally invite (nobody needed lanterns). Got yellow for them and killed it, and then they started talking BS about how I had no right to claim their NM, and what a PoS I was for doing so, mind you we weren't interested in any of the drops and hadn't cast 1 lot on them, so before drops fell I just broke ally and went along my merry way.

I can attest to this first hand, Ludo's ls attacked my ls while we were doing CC for the first time. Blm wiped us then took the mob. While this is a *** move, it surprises no one as Movin bricks or w/e it's called is generally accepted to be a collection of ***.

That's all I mean - leveling by any method doesn't provide you much when it comes to doing the things you want to do. It just gets you better at whatever you were doing.
Personally, my only issue with Abyssea XP is that it killed the act of Leveling as an aspect of the game. While grinding was tedious a lot of the time, it was also very rewarding more than that.
Unfortunately, an MMO in it's twilight years doesn't have enough new blood to maintain a healthy low-level environment. So Abyssea Xp is virtually the only option. This problem is exaccerbated because of the rigid party structure standard "Grinds" were based around. I personally don't think there should be an XP Penalty applied to parties until the party has 4 or more members.
Anyway, all that isn't really relevant to the discussion. Abyssea only makes "Bad" Players if they were brand-new to the game. Not having had the time to learn how to find the resources and research they need to be good. It's Ignorance, not stupidity, they're very different things. There's plenty of "Maat's cap" people who are equally stupid when it comes to one or more jobs. Hell, I'm willing to admit I'm a *** moron when it comes to corsair.

Ive had a sobek like that apart from it went yellow while i was fighting it they ripped hate off me by spamming stuff on it after everyone died and i get hate reset.

NMs going unclimed due to a dead party - perfectly fine imo. Although if it were me, I'd still invite them to pt / alli to help them out. I'm just too considerate at times, I know I'd appreciate it if someone helped me out in that way.
NMs going unclaimed due to kiting / charmed and other ***? Not cool. That's just cheap, lame, etc etc. If the other player is still alive, handling their mob well, but get a bit out of range / forgot their dot, it's hardly something that justifies stealing it. Let's face it, kiting and ***is something SE relies on players to perform for some NMs and unclaiming during a tactic that's expected of players is just ***.
