If you start off with a trainer, even just for a brief time, it'll help. Once you gain confidence with the machines and get used to a few faces you won't feel on your own

Yeah, being all on your own is pretty boring. A few years back, I started with 2 friends, then i was on my own for a year and suddenly gave up.
The past few months, while staying here in the US, I figured it'd be a nice way to spend time so I bought some sessions with a coach and had lots of fun.
But if you're not the shy type you could very well make friends at a gym so, it's up to someone's personality.

I go at 6:30am 3 days a week, lol. I'm the only person in there until at least 8 and I'm usually out by 8:30
