In the place where you actually go to cancel your SE ID it doesn't actually say "Your POL ID will be ***", more in all is I find it absolutely HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE that it requires you to have information that doesn't exist. Deleting that SE account should remove all SE Account ID's from the POL ID's.
What I also find annoying is that I registered a couple RL friends to my ID, if anyone of them wanted to stop entering that password anytime or give their account out they can't.

So we tried to log in this morning again before calling to see if anything changed, and now we can login. So they must have reactivated the account sometime in the 5 hours since my last post. Either way he can log in now so if you have a similar problem, dont worry it should get fixed.

When you say reactivated the account, do you mean your PlayOnline ID or the Square Enix Account?
I need to do this because I attached my brothers and my account, and now we have to use the same damn token device, we could just go and deactivate that device but I kind of want it, and he has to keep asking me for password for SE Account since it isnt saved, he doesnt live with me and it's very frustrating.
Did you just nag SE to let you back onto your account and they finally returned your PlayOnline ID back to how it was without it being linked to a SE account or is it still linked?

Kicking myself right now... but I've just made this exact mistake due to impatience (im the type that button bashes through cs's). I was gifted an account around a year ago i've been dboxing with it ever since I stupidly deleted the Square Enix account hoping i could link the POL ID upto my Square Enix account on Mcmurdles. Obviously the issue now is i can't log onto said mule.... does anyone have any idea how I go about reversing the damage i've done? lol... Would I need to call SE and pretend to be my friend who gifted me the account and have them reactivate the SE id?
