Kirin - Single MNK Kill ?

Going to be making an attempt at this.
Title says "Single MNK Kill" and NOT solo because while the MNK will be the only one attacking Kirin, I will have my WHM healing me and a friend's PLD on any adds that might spawn.

I've done this @ 75 with 3 other MNKs, 2x BRDs, a WHM and a RDM/NIN kiter. All MNKs were standard shura/b.haidate/destroyers/black belt geared.

Going to be attempting this @ Lv.90 with verethragnas.
Will open up with a fully buffed 300% smite followed by HF.
support will be 2x BRDs, 1x PLD, 1x WHM.

My prediction: if Summons are handled well by Ochain PLD, Fight should 4-8 Minutes. 60-65% of Kirin's HP will be gone before soulvoiced songs wear off.

Songs - 2x Minuets 2x March songs (even though I'll have HF up, 300% aftermath will outlast HF, and it will be good to have that extra speed for the remaining 25-35 seconds of aftermath)

Any thoughts?

Would MP be a problem with the bards?

9 mp/tick from them alone, virtual minikin.

Edit: 12 mp/tick adding the other bard's ballad1.

*Assuming bards are good: having +2 pants and rare/ex ballad instrument.

Was considering RDM only for the enfeebling magic. But I think a WHM with 45% cure potency and 10+ refresh/tic from gear + ballads2/3 should be fine.
I highly doubt that should I be unlucky enough to get a Carby Astral-Flow I will be put into red hp, but its nice to have a CureV ready just in case.
Also, I want Kirin to be swinging as much as possible to increase dmg output through counters. I doubt deadly hold is going to do more than 400-600 dmg even with counterstance up.

Will see, could be wrong. However, one other job i can see doing this and absolutely winning with no real challenge providing summons are handled is WAR/SAM Ukon with a decent X-hit build and a COR putting up SAM rolls.

I actually really want to see this, any chance one of you can record it?

2x soulvoiced Minuets should put me at atk cap with red curry and berserk up, before any inclining atk from consecutive landed rounds of attacks from impetus. 2 songs would be wasted.
STR etudes might be nice though, but I think that would be more suited towards a war/sam where their ws dmg is going to be a greater % of their overall dmg. Victory Smite is nice, but its not going to make up more than 45-55% of my overall dmg on this fight, if that.

soulvoice march1+2, haste spell, capped gear haste puts you at delay cap (80% iirc) and that's faster than 100 fists so you're probably better off doing 100 fists when songs wear off rather than with songs on.

Are you going to parse it as well?

Speaking of parsing. I had 4 Kirin zergs that I loaded up KParser for, and forgot to parse. FML... always forget these little things :(

a prop geared sch might help, being able give you regain a slight stat boost with weather among other things.

you will be ok as long whms use sch sub conserve mp procs/sublimation and penuries

other than acc rating, which should be capped @90 vs Kirin, wouldn't be much use since its only 1 mnk vs 1 mob. Video will show ws highs/lows.
Can parse if people want me to, but afaik kparse isn't working? or is it now fixed?

i posted a video not too long ago of a war duoing with a smn. a mnk with support should be ok.

curious to know how much dmg the war was taking, and was he using relic/empyrean? we pushed back run to friday. so will post then.

That video is ***. The warrior had multiple SV buffs going, as made incredibly obvious by their attack speed and damage. He's not even at capped gear-haste.

2 verethragna(ukon or masamune probably work fine too) brd whm should be enough to kill without 2hrs. I know for sure it has been killed without too much trouble with a mnk mnk brd whm setup.

Was able to kill kirin solo (for DD) BLU with just rdm + whm for support, no BRD. I would hope you'd be able to do it with two of them. One add popped right at the end but died before it could do anything (when kirin died). Spells did anywhere from 800-2000 depending on JA's and such. Really easy.

I believe his 2nd char has brd and smn on two seperate accts, so what he does is logs on the brd, soul voice songs, locks the war with the ???, logs onto smn and that's where the video starts.

I just noticed you said you were planning on using CS against kirin? I'm about 95% positive that's a horrible idea. He'll totally destroy you. You realize kirin rarely attacks normally right? It's almost always a tp move.
