Wasn't IGN the site that also fired the guy for giving Kane & Lynch an honest (read: admitted it was crap) review, and then gave it a 10 out of 10 cuz the developer paid them?
They gave the game a 6/10 originally I believe and then it got bumped to a 9/10, he pretty much bashed the game throughout the entire video review and got fired

People who can't register for a game should not even write a stupid article about that game....they have no idea about the game at all.
