Maybe I should add sound effects when I press it on my end XD Post or person, ban or delete, all same lol Anye: Wow, person-x is really stepping over the line this time, I guess I need to do what needs to be done... ...just hit submit aaaand... -edit- crap you guys post fast Valefor.Slipispsycho

Just because I'm curious..
It's been mentioned that there might be some new mods being added soon, what exactly is the criteria that puts someone in or out of the consideration box? Copying WoW from my external is going to take forever :x

As for a question... what are the major things that are coming to the site atm (the stuff that scragg is working on)? Shiva.Flionheart said: Have you never had any really satisfying bans? Most of the time I just feel so exhausted by trying to deal with the person leading up to their ban, getting other admin/moderator consensus, doing the paperwork on their account, handling the complaints, etc... the final button press is pretty anti-climactic. There's certainly a small sense of "and stay out!" satisfaction involved? I'm only human. But usually it's dwarfed by the tired realism of knowing you really can't do anything truly permanent on the internet anyway. Cerberus.Wolfshadow

Why do you approve?(serious question) would just like to hear a few positives about this game from people who have experience playing as im temped towards it ^^ Theres just something about rift after around level 28ish that you really see rift become it's own game. It becomes something different from even WoW. While it may have a lot of similarities you can tell there is something different about it and I enjoy that. At the same time it shares one common feature with WoW. I don't have to sit down an play every minute I'm free from work in order to achieve something. Something FFXI isn't AS bad about as it was...but is still pretty bad. I got a question? If for some reason, a mod and a poster disagree with each other, a moderator does have to remain impartial to personal opinions, if there is heated debates on specific topics that the mod might feel "attached" to?

Technically we are supposed to stay out of debates but sometimes we might get in a discussion but we won't cross the lines and take it personal to go off and maybe topicban cause we didn't like their response. Ragnarok.Anye said: Lakshmi.Jaerik said: None of the admins play anymore, and I think most of the moderators are on temporary or permanent haituses. haitii? haitussissu... whatever the plural of that is. Even Firefox spellcheck is baffled. I picked up WoW with the advent of Cataclysm and have been having a really great time. They really did an excellent job. I flat-out refused to play this damn game for half a decade, but can clearly see why they're the 800lb gorilla on the block. It makes me happy I'm not trying to compete with them anymore. A ton of my friends are on the Rift dev team, so I really need to give it a shot, but I'm a bit leery about trying to master two MMO's at once, given how insanely busy I've been with work recently. /mindblown Anyways, doinitwrong, Jae--Hiatuses. XD And I'm coming back, currently downloading the 10-hour update. :> /cheer Maybe I need to reactivate so we can run wild on Ragnarok!!! Psst...Spence is sooo jealous! LOL! The mods have guidelines they themselves must follow and I'd imagine if one of them stepped out of line Jaerik or Scragg would intervene. As much as I don't necessarily agree with Krizz's decisions on matters, there's always a reason behind each action.
Sometimes I think it's OTT, but then I'm easy going so... But seriously, if you've had PM privileges removed then you'd deserve it. Or anything else for that matter. |
