but yeah, options are more limited for gilbuyers, though i'd argue that getting your gil guaranteed for 20ish a mil is a better deal than relying on a middlemanless other player or Chinese sites to maybe get your gil for 14ish a mil

However, Draylo's point is valid. Making gil in FFXI has simply never been easier than it is now. There's a TON of gil being introduced into the servers. It's generated by players selling loads of NQ Abyssea spoils to NPCs for 2k-10k a piece.

If anything, the value of a gil is becoming (slightly) inflated again, for the first time in years.

Its also a sellers market, many more people just npc'ing amber chest gears and cruor gears that people are abnadoning crafting and also because its easier to level people have many more jobs and the need for usable items like Shihei and other nin tools, blm spells from amber chests.

It has never been easier to make gil so buying it is massively gimp, My name is Omgwheresmyname from cerberus and my mule name is Sailorboy, I have 255 price history because I simply have nothing to hide, I think its embarassing people spend real life money on gil, I pity them.

The idea of crafting for gil isn't so bad is it, thats what a community is based on, trade, RMT just create a false economy, a black market and fuels gimps who want the best gear but cannot be bothered to work for it, wouldn't it feel better if you did?

There was a guy in port jueno last night wanting to buy 7,845 T.whiteshells, 4,550 Bynes, 6,700 O.bronzepieces. I did the math at the prices he was offering and it came out to roughly 142,670,000 gil. Now, Idk about ya'll, but that's ALOT of rmt right thar, and no one can convince me otherwise.

Clicking "buy 200mil" will always seem easier then actually farming it up in my opinion.
Now if only I had that kind of disposable income.

The gil resellers are at other forums like MMObay and VirtualFaqs, Mogs should be a last resort with their prices ._.

Nothing even close; sad to say it but EGS was the king at FFXI rmt, it had no second. Just sucks that the owner was not responsible with his site and membes. AS I said in my previous post, your best bet right now is VirtualFaqs.com in regards to FFXI; All the major sellers from EGS are there, and their identities are verified. I see prices as low as 11/mil by very reputable people.
The sign up process on that site is extensive since it has a verification process. It's not full-proof but it weeds out a LOT of scammers.

i don't buy gil, but i've thought about getting another fishing account, are account buys any more/less reliable?
