McDonald's fries are crazy resilient.
Glad I don't like fries from McDonald's. That is ridiculous.

thank god the body breaks down all that food and gets digested, not like it sits in your body for longer then 24hrs.
Any mom with a minivan can do this experiment, I've found fries in my step moms and those things must be a year old, and look brand new.

The point was, that your body is meant to break down things that can naturally break down on their own. However, the fries cannot break down on their own so the body must have a harder time doing it. The point was, that your body is meant to break down things that can naturally break down on their own. However, the fries cannot break down on their own so the body must have a harder time doing it. starting out with chewing, and then entering the stomach, the gastric juices will start breaking the food down, then onto the colon and so on where the food is absorbed and processed into waste. the reason the fries in this video do not break down is 1. they are deep fried, which prevents alot of attack from mold and other micro organisms... 2. they are bathed in salt... which absorbs all the moisture and thus preventing the breakdown process. most fries from other restaurants (ones that use steak fries) do not use salt typically on their fries, as you can see in the video, they do not have salt on them... and so they start to break down like the other food. .. No one said they can't break down, they said it's harder to break down. A peanut for instance is not going to be as easy to break down as a slice of banana. If you do want to dispute that fact, get some acid and put a peanut in one flask and a slice of banana in the other and you'll see the difference. Or if you wanna go the extra mile, chew each up and spit it in the flask.
only reason i pointed that out is because he said the fries cannot breakdown on their own.... which is wrong.. they can, they just have a ton of salt on them that slows down way down the process of decomposition

Well as a matter of refrence for anyone curious why your home made fries are never like McDonald's, here's how they do it. Doesn't really have anything to do with the things they put in them so much as the preparation method. I haven't gotten around to actually trying it, because it's a lot of work for some goddamned french fries, especially when I'm not particularly fond of always crispy fries.
