New to the Monk forums, please be gentle.
My Monk is mainly used for duo, but I figured why half *** something if I'm going to use it often? So my question is, how does my WS setup look? Working on improving my gear and I'll list what I think is a smarter gear choice.
This is only for ascetics fury, inside abyssea of course.
Upgrades:
Feet: +2 them
Back: Atheling?
Body: Tantra+2? Loki's?
Hands: Heofic mittens? +13str?
Head: Augmented with attack +2.. I know it's nothing special But I can't think of much other to use? Genbus? I may be wrong in thinking my Light belt/Light Torque is helpful, please correct me if so.

Cape, pretty sure atheling mantle will beat cerb+1...not 100% there

Think brutal still beats any other ear option atm tbh. Same with eponas but dont quote me there.

The legs you have are decent, but once Usukane+1 comes around that will push it even further to being the best in slot, Aias Bonnet is a possible improvement as well.

Assuming dDEX is capped (in abys it will be) Rajas falls behind vulcans and pyrosoul rings~

FTP is low for A/Fury, so gorget/belt work. An alternative being anguinus for high defense targets

It would all depend on the mob itself. Low def = str/vit belt, high def = gorget/belt.

Not entirely sure but wouldnt genbu's beat aias? 15 points of stat boost vs 8 points, some (usually irrelevant) dDEX and the resultant attack?

50% + 50% STR/VIT
Ball parked STR at 150+130, doesn't matter really
155 With Warwolf, 135
150*.50+130*.50*.85 = 119
Guesstimated D at 84 after fSTR so
203*2.10ftp*3.0pdif = 1278
155*.50+135*.50*.85 = 122
84+122 = 206
206*2.0*3.0 = 1236
That's just w/ belt, though I'd imagine gorget will follow similarly

And yeah Genbu's will beat Aias, even if you're getting 2fSTR, since you'll get around 2WSC from Kabuto.

Pretty sure Black Belt/Beir/Beir +1 are also all better than an elemental belt.
Warwolf 5str/5vit will win out over beir+1/black assuming fSTR is capped. If fSTR isnt capped, dDEX shouldnt be either so the 5dex on warwolf will still bring it ahead.
