He's refering to DRK's merited ability Desperate Blows, when Last resort is on maxed out provides 25% JA haste
Yeah, and any DRK worth his weight in feces would have merited Desperate blows. Even at the current limit of 30seconds for Last Resort, it's hands-down the best merit option available to Dark Knights.

me? no, I only play the jobs I want to play drk has never been one of these hence my forgetting of the merit point ability.

Atleast this shows they'r trying to equal it out a bit, PLD will probably get balanced out next time.

The update on LS sounds awesome and overpowerd <3
Stalwart Soul got me worried tho .... since iam a KcDrk and it states will lesser hp use on souleater wich is the driving force of a BW + SE combo . . fawk dunno what to think bout update now . . . allready lost 45m on gears with the introduction ofAbyssea.
And now they killed my kraken D:?

Finally, they increased the duration of Last Resort, go dev team. Eight years late is better then not at all, but its going to take much more than this to fix DRK.

I got a feeling it's a gimp, to balance out all the dds that doesnt have crit hit weaponskills.

Gonna do the same dmg, it just drains less hp to deal the same amount of dmg. I was beginning to think i was the only person who read it that way.
Nice to see Rng getting a buff too but idk if it NEEDED it. After just getting Jishnu's i can now spam 5-6k WS where as other jobs need a DA proc on their crit ws to even do that. Not to mention being able to do a solid 2-3k with winders/barrage w.o jishnu's where as DKN(i like that) has jack ***outside of CRIT DMG boost ja <_<

I assume it would go both ways... Probably either dex or str though I'd be leaning towards dex.

Look at what is being changed: less hate for mage cure, less dmg on crits, drk becomes overwhelming dd but also will die in 2 hits. What do you think will happen to the hate system?
You will need a PLD there to cure or cover and take hate off drk. THF & NIN tank may not be as effective at keeping hate and even MNK might not be able to keep hate now if u have a DRK there. This update will affect PLD.

Stalwart Soul: DRK Lv.45 - Reduces HP consumption when using Souleater.
Dead Aim: RNG Lv.50 - Improves power of critical hits for ranged attacks.
*The level indicated is that at which the trait will initially be obtained. Trait effectiveness will subsequently increase at higher levels.
• Certain job traits will see their maximum level of effectiveness adjusted by equipment, magic, and/or job abilities.
Other Adjustments
• VIT will play a role in calculating damage taken from critical hits.
• Experience point penalties when KO’d will be eased for characters level 75 and below.
At levels 1–30, the penalty will be removed entirely. At levels 31–75, the amount of XP lost will be lowered
