Destiny Knot doesn't pass * up to * five IVs, it always ensures that exactly 5 IVs are passed. You *can* combine with a power item, but you still only pass 5 IVS,
Hmm, sometimes when I have a 2x 5/6 parents breeding, I have 3/6 babies... One of them has Destiny Knot, the other has an Everstone.

The Destiny Knot parent should always send out 4/6 at the very minimum, if it always send out 5 IVs. Any idea why it still gives out 3/6 babies?

Doesn't that just mean that out of the 5 stats the two 5/6 parents contributed, you got unlucky and received both of the non-31 IVs? It's still 5 IVs passed down, just not the ones you wanted.

I thought it was the parent with the Destiny Knot that gets the IVs passed, not both with just 1 knot.

All well.

So, when a person on your friends list thing appears as a blank Mii, does it mean you haven't been added yet? Or is it a glitch? o.o Have a few like that.

My team has been bred for the tournament.

Only have 2 perfect IVs (Bulba and Eevee). The others are all 5/6 but with the nature I wanted, so thats ok anyway.

Onto EV training!

I have a question. Is it possible to level up a smeargle and have it know sketch 4 times? Or does it only relearn sketch every 10 levels after it uses it?

dunno if its been mentioned, but for those who like to close their 3ds often and dont want to deal with connecting to the internet every time you open it again.. you can goto the game sync page then close it, it will eventually dc but you get a good 20 or so min maybe more.

He gives it to you on the route after you obtain the fighting-type badge, if memory serves. The name of the town eludes me, but it's handed off as the standard surf-user in the event you haven't caught anything else capable of surfing by that point.

Does anyone know where one can obtain Metal Coats other than the one you get from the Pokeball Factory? The Magnetons in this game don't seem to be equipped when you catch them from The Lost Hotel.

Also, does anyone know how or why I'm capturing Pokemon with one Pokeball wiggle? Not that I'm complaining about it, but it'd be nice if there was a rhyme or reason to it.

There is a guy who reported getting one on a Magneton. I'd suggest trying them for a decent while.
