Friend Safari already has an increased rate of Shinys in it. Just spend 30 mins in a friend's safari you would like a shiny form of and just keep going.

kind of have a rough team idea, what level should I aim for them to be before the November thing?
W/e lvl you can get the moves you want to use. Online fights are auto lvled or de-lvled to 50.
As high as you want it.

its the "official" 1v1 rule, for lack of a better title. each player has 6 and you pick 3 after seeing the team. 2v2 you would pick 4. but anyone that cares does 6 on 6
