What Foods Do You F@#$!$*^ Hate?

I don't like the consistency of them.. To me they feel like biting into a wet rubbery sponge.. I hate sponge food, that has a lot to do with why I hate Eggplant as well.

I'm very picky. Seafood, green beans, mushrooms, most things fried, any leftovers with iffy expiry dates, any visible fat on meat (I'll spend half an hour cutting it all off before taking a single bite), make that anything fried, tomatoes, olives, bacon, sausage, vanilla ice cream, the smell of eggs, white bread (sticks to the roof of my mouth... NO), not a huge fan of fruit. I mean, I like it, but a lot of times you're eating 9 sour strawberries and 1 sweet one.

And to top them all... CARAMEL. UGH! I hate caramel. It's super sweet, and it sticks to your teeth and everything, has a terrible texture, and is in pretty much every chocolate bar in existence, which is utter BS because I looove chocolate. With almonds. Also, anything caramelized, like carrots. Leave carrots alone, they did nothing wrong. Carrots are delicious.

I can't handle cheese. It makes me gag lol. Same with tomatoes. I'll eat just about anything else though.

Ah yesh, I did forget the one thing that I do hate with a passion.

Cooked carrots.

I love them raw but if they're cooked, expect me to look at you and tell you to *** off.

I made her try a sip of Corona once, to which she said it tasted like green beans. I will never drink Corona again because now that's all I think of when I taste it ><.

Anyway, foods I don't like: Mushrooms, mushrooms, mushrooms... organ foods... things with a lot of cheese (mac&cheese).

I also hate any kind of sweet curry. I like sweet foods, I like currys but I loathe sweet curries with a passion, it just tastes like a strange combination of sweet and spicy and completely kills the flavour of the ingredients for me.

My grandpa does this weird dutch over thing with cooked carrots and bacon..yes bacon and it makes them freakin delicious.

I'd have to say if they're cooked right I would probably eat them, but just straight up cooking them to a mush is just disgusting.

I'm with in most cases cooked carrots are nasty..but with bacon anything can be good.

MY friend convinced me to try an olive again for whatever reason I can't remember, I just know I gave it a shot. The taste was so evil i spat it out and gestured madly for something to wash away the taste, so he hands me a carton of concentrated grapefruit juice which I take a huge gulp from then proceed to choke on due to the ridiculous potency and end up spitting it all over his kitchen XD

I don't like porridge either - ewww.

I dislike both, but I really hate green.. I won't eat green for nothing. If there's black olives on pizza, I'll still eat it. If for some weird reason you tried to hand me pizza with green olives on it, I'd slap you in the face with the pizza.

Oh another food I hate..

Licorice it seriously makes me want to vomit. Just the smell is bad.

I hate it when my bf makes me eggs, but leaves loads of the egg white uncooked... nasty.

I used to be like that with steaks and porkchops when I was a kid, dont really give a toss now lol. I dunno wot I'd do w/o seafood & fruits tho.

Also from your mention of caramel, I'd like to add popcorn to my list. 90% of the time I either burn it a tiny bit or have to rewave half of it.. kernals get stuck in my throat and I'm hauckin for hours.. *** popcorn!

All that comes to mind is the rare times I eat fast food and get a rubbery tortilla from Taco Bell...

I start thinking what they're made of to give it that consistency, that ***is gross.

But I'm broke lol, I eat out of necessity. Beggars can't be choosers I guess
cause I can't think of food I truly hate.

Southern Fried Okra


INGREDIENTS
1 pound fresh okra
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cornmeal
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground pepper to taste
Vegetable oil
Wash and slice okra; pat dry with paper towels.
Combine eggs and buttermilk; add okra, and let stand for 10 minutes.
Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt and pepper.
Drain okra, small portions at a time, using a slotted spoon.
Dredge okra, small portions at a time, in flour mixture.
Pour oil to depth of 2 to 3-inches in a Dutch oven of deep-fat fryer and heat to 375*F (190*C). Fry okra until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings
