Servers might be down through April?
People saying they miss the game dont bother me or asking when if will come back on is ok. But the ones that are goin on and on about how they should drop what there doing and bring it over here.. That is just so not gona happen lol And i dont understand why they are having fits from not playing the game O_o;? But between the ones having fits and the trollers with nothing better to do then start ***to make them selfs feel less.... like losers? Its getting old just reading to see what peopel think well poeple with any brains and self controle.

This is too funny.
It's very much a monetary decision for SE. I'm sure they have the resources to either move the servers, or if need be, power them with a backup generator(s). However, it probably is proposed to cost them more to run that way than simply shutting down for a short duration. Like it or not ffxi is still a business and if it doesn't make money it isn't good business.
