When you first log in you will be in guest rank(basically can only roam and look around) so ask admin for builder rank.

In the town there are 36 plots where you can build your house in town they are first come first serve msg an admin if you would like to claim 1 and set so only you can build in it.

started a vanilla SSP world, dug a giant mine in the back room of my base, and halfway down i fell into a cave, and so far i've collected over 2 stacks of iron, and near half a stack of gold from it

So I just made a dark room tower and collector trap.

then I got bored because it was too easy and just left my trap alone and built a mansion lol.

TOO EASY?! dude with all that gunpowder you can make a *** cannon to attack other peoples mansions?! and i know just how to do it from beyond max render range too. *** never expect it!

How do you make a land purely flat, or certain type of Biome or such?


I been planning on making some FFXI towns, but I need to make sure I got areas i need or perfectly flat grounds.

Edit: Spoke too soon. It'll be up as soon as I rip Nethrar out of there for now, and there just won't be any nether for a little while if that's what's blowing the whole thing up.
Okay it was just chunk errors. At worst they'll get blown out eventually.

Should be running daily backups on the map now too, in case it gets proper *** again.

There is now a "Quest" that must be completed for Trusted status and build capability. Make pilgrimage to the Water Ziggurat and seek salvation from Armok!

DRKCraft now has player run chest shops based on trading of Glowstone Dust (cause it looks like money and can be dug up with mcmmo).

Has a few tweaks to wolf spawning rates, and some wolves will spawn agro'd, especially on Full Moon nights announced in chat.

A few other neat mods, like using leather boots to jump three blocks high.

Everything is still there if you were on before. Might have gotten looted a bit if you didn't lock your chests since it's been a month.

I can now manage/restart the server from anywhere using a VNC server that runs a client in a browser, sexy stuff. Fixed the box so the server will start automatically instead of me having to remote in to log it on and start it.

So is there a private server for FFXIAH.com? I can't join a public server unfortunately.

Mine is only FFXIAH, my brother and our friends, and a few sparse other places I might post the url.

There's a protective element when people first join, have to do some pretty specific thing to be able to muck with anything at all. It's that quest I mentioned.


Few more changes to the server: Added critical hits to swords with some interesting damage scaling (Diamond swords are brutal, but Gold swords are... worth making ;D).

This is to offset a hefty increase in mob damage. You'll definitely want some armor or to just hide at night because a zombie will put you at one heart in two hits (I decided that was fairer than two-shotting you). This is offset slightly by the regen factor based on total skill level from MCMMO, but it's still safer to keep food on hand.

Our current running town is getting a good shop system set up, and I'm slowly increasing the circulating amount of cash.

When there were some chunk errors and I had to rebuild pointers the default spawn point got moved. Most everyone has used /home set to respawn elsewhere.

I think I'll either move the default spawn back to where it's supposed to be (WorldEdit should do nicely) or put up giant torch arrows pointing towards the Water Ziggurat.

i'll be back on sometime, been busy getting readjusted to ffxi.

i was playing the free version last week, i kept getting disconnected every 20~30 mins or so :/
