The Mustache Brigade would like to invite you to play on our server. We are running 24/7. When you visit our server you will spawn into the main world where we setup our towns and factories. Near the spawn you may visit the admin shop where you can exchange various ores in exchange for currency. Take your currency down to the nearby Market where players can setup shops to sell their goods. You may setup your own town or be invited into some else's town. All builds and contents within a town are protected from outsiders (Be sure to read the guide if you are unfamiliar with towny.) Join us today and start your empire.
We have a growing PVP arena environment catered to providing a thrilling PVP experience.
We provide a special world where everything goes. Designed to give players a disposable place to gather resources in mass quantities.
We also run holiday events, usually in the form of some specially crafted environment that the players explore and conquer. Holiday events generally include rewards during the appropriate season but are archived for use all year long.
We're looking for players to come join towns or start your own towns, create awesome bases and factories, setup shops and sell goods, or just come for the special events.

We like to provide an environment where your rank is not determined by how long you can AFK in a server but more associated with the greatness of your town. Your town will be applied as a chat tag to show off and be proud of.

Member - Once you have registered on our community website you will be upgraded to Member. This removes your noob tag.
Town Leader - Let everyone know you're the proud over of a town. Name colored blue.
King - Reign over your loyal towns and prosper as they do. Name colored gold.
Donators - Various donator ranks are provided as thanks for a small contribution.

Banned Mods/Items

EE is entirely disabled - We agree with the author of this mod, it is not designed to be used in a SMP environment.
Explosives - TNT, iTNT, Nukes, Cannons, anything that's sole use is to make a crater is banned.

Our server is professionally hosted by evlgaming, they offer full shell access allowing our admin and devs to fine tune every aspect of our server software. G. Griefing
G.1 No Griefing
G.2 No Griefing
G.3 Seriously No Griefing. Griefing is defined on our server as purposely sabotaging any area on the server. Loopholes will not be entertained and will be dealt with at the discretion of the admin. This rule applies serverwide.
P. PVP - PVP is enabled only in: the Outlaw World, PVP Arenas, and inside specifed towns.
P.1 Do not bypass PVP restrictions - PVP in Mustacheopolis (Main world) is enabled at the will of the town owner. If PVP is disabled in it better not occur.
P.2 No Toggle-PVP Tactics - Town owners and town assistants are reminded that flicking on PVP in their town for a moment to kill an unsuspecting visitor is against the rules.
P.3 PVP is unrestricted in the outlaw world.
T. Traps - Trapping within your town is legal as long as it conforms to the following rules.
T.1 Do not create traps at your town spawn that force a player who teleports to your town to enter the trap.
T.2 Do not create traps in Mustacheopolis wilderness
C. Chat
C.1 No Spamming.
C.2 No Harassment.
C.3 No Racism, discrimination or racial slurs.
C.4 Be respectful of other players.
C.5 No advertising.
C.6 No hate or bickering in the main channel. This creates a hostile environment for other players and will not be tolerated. If you must argue, do so in private message with the other player.
E. Exploits
E.1 Do not exploit bugs or bypass permissions. - Loopholes or glitches you find that you are not sure if they break the rules, you should contact a mod and ask them before doing anything else. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action based on the result of the glitch and your intent.
E.2 No Cheating. - Xray, Wall clipping, or the like.
R. Raiding - Defined as stealing items or blocks from others' builds.
R.1 Do not bypass LWC or Towny protections. Towns and LWC are installed to protect town members from theft. We know you all work hard to obtain and build your creations. Using any method that bypasses these protections will result in severe punishment.
R.2 Abandonded Towns are subject to legal raiding. Occasionally towns of those who have "beat the game" move on and leave their towns behind. Eventually the town will fall into ruins due to lack of funding and all protections are removed. If you find one of these towns along your journey, take anything you can.
R.3 New towns - Newly forming towns that have not set up protections yet are not considered abandoned. Do not raid towns that are actively being setup.
S. Scarring - Defined as eye sores in the opinion of the mods and admin.
S.1 Ensure all land you alter is presentable in Mustacheopolis. Eye sores such as quarry holes, nerd poles, very large mining operations must be made presentable after use. We encourage players to do these kinds of operations in the Outlaw world where we don't hold players to this standard.
S.2 Do not create eye sores mentioned in L.1 within view of another town without permission. Please note we also consider this griefing. Some examples of this may include but are not limited to: setting up an above ground quarry next to a town you do not own or building a wall around the bounds of another town
L. Lag - Defined as causing an area to lag or causing the entire server to run at less than 15 TPS.
L.1 Do not build laggy contraptions. We love to see the crazy things you guys build but make sure it works and is NOT causing lag. If you notice a fair amount of lag near your build, sort it out. You will only be warned once regarding this infraction.
L.2 Timers 1 Second Minimum - Do not set any repeating action to repeat faster than 1 second. This includes use of redpower timers, redpower sequencers, computer scripts, or any other repeating automation.
L.3 Unattended Timers - For any unattended timer that lies inside the bounds of a chunk loader we ask that you either shut the system down when not being attended to or develop a mechanism that automatically shuts the system down when not being attended to.
M. Miscellaneous
M.1 Do not claim nether dungeons - While you may make town claims in the nether, you may not claim nether dungeons. First offense will be lose of the town claim without compensation. Additional offenses will result in more serious punishment.
M.2 Overworld strongholds - This may be harder to avoid claiming since it's sometimes hard to tell if you're town lies on top of a stronghold before you claim the land. In this case, please ensure there is sufficient access to the end portal for other adventurers to use.
M.3 Common sense - We love players who use their brains to determine the difference between right and wrong!
M.4 Respect other players - We all try to get along but even if you can't, take your differences somewhere else. Do not be disrespectful of other players or their possessions.
M.5 Have fun - It is required by all players to have fun, or else!

M.7 Do not impersonate server staff. Will result in ban without possibility of appeal.
M.8 Do not disrespect or lie to staff members. You may debate the decision of a staff member calmly but being unruly towards a staff member will not be tolerated
