iirc /warp town will get you out of there, check the /warp list for all the locations. You can also do /home if you have a home point set

The maps for some reason the person marker turns to a square block and then keeps glitching different colors.
Also crashing when making maps...

Finally bought this, and I absolutely love it >.>

My OCD goes out of control while playing.

My mind's thoughts said:
dig
dig
dig

...that block doesn't look right. That one doesn't either. nor does that one.

mistake! (replaces it with stone).

*stares*

that looks ugly...

melts down the cobblestone into stone again. Make wooden planks and stairs.

Make paths leading out to my major areas of discovery made from wooden planks and stairs.

and more .-.
I've spent countless hours at the starting point... I've probably only went 20-30 blocks down so far.

I added a few mods cause I could already tell that I would get bored with some things. One of them adds more friendly animals, enemies, cave dwellers, birds, and water creatures. Another was to be able to toggle between running and walking, or crawling. It's nice, just being able to toggle it on and off instead of double tapping and etc. I also can zoom in to look at stuff in the distance more closely, but I'm not sure how I feel about that or not. I'm not really a cheater, I just think some things should have been in the game is all D:

I tried out a mini map, it was amazing. I mean, the guy did an amazing job with it. You could see an overhead view of the surface, look down and see a scan of caves, or even a biome map. That's cool and all but it felt like a bit much. I might put it back in, but it seemed really excessive and kinda cheating. I could just disable enemy trackers and stuff until it doesn't feel like cheating, but I just love exploring and getting lost so that kinda defeats the purpose.

Been waiting for the mod API for a billion years now... I sorta stopped playing until its ready. Tired of my game breaking over everything and unable to update to play with new official things.

I love modding and playing with commands and all... but sometimes I just want to play the damn game and not worry about all that.

Yeah... I got too used to like a dozen different mods, reinstalling them and waiting for each individual mod to be updated every couple of weeks got old. Once I realized how much better the game is with mods, I couldn't play vanilla anymore.

I found this program that doesn't edit the .jar file

I figured the game gets updated a lot so it sounded nice.

It loads your mods in when you start the game, and you can play w/o mods w/o doing any work really.

This way your mods aren't wiped when the game updates, and mods act more like plugins than anything.

http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/939149-launcher-magic-launcher-100-mods-options-news/

It also checks for compatibility between mods as well

I did as well, but I'm able to start over and have fun again from scratch. I'm not sure why really.

I used magic launcher as well. It's still a pain because not all mods are compatible with each other plus if you don't do some in the right order it just breaks things.

I ran a MC server for a short bit with a friend and fooled around with a billion mods... Thaumcraft 2 was probably my favorite. So many good mods out there. The mod API should have been focused on from the start, I'm kind of irritated still that it is not implemented.

I'm having to tone down some of the aggressive spawns though. Bears absolutely destroy me :(

I like that though as well, I think a game should be able to destroy you at any time unless you should be safe in the situation.

When I first put the mod on night was crazy. Everything was attacking my house and if they were able to dig at all I would have been dead so fast.

I was playing on Hard difficulty before, I had to turn that down as well lol.

It's cool being able to control the ratio of monsters, I'm glad I got that one.

I also had to completely remove stingrays form water... it made water completely dangerous to be in @.@

I think they should have taken the idea from Terraria for homes. If you have an enclosed space with a bed then nothing should be able to spawn in it. The light level is a cool idea I guess, but if you have a dark room in your home then you're vulnerable.

I guess you would feel vulnerable anyways in a dark room with the possibility of something attacking you in the night.
