You don't get an extra hit on WS by Dual Wielding two weapons instead of one.

Quote: The reason Brutal is usually a great TP and WS piece is because it grants a 5% Double Attack chance to jobs that wouldn't otherwise have access to Double Attack and because it grants 1 STP which in several TP builds can be vital to reduce the number of times you need to swing your weapon to reach 100 TP. and i dunno about increasing tp return by a lot, since tp gets nerfed in the first place with dw. but yeah it will add the same tp as the mainhand when dwing. DW lowers tp per hit (unless rounding stops that) but almost always increase tp gain over time

A big woosh on my side, hahah! Ramuh.Lorzy said: Bahamut.Dasva said: DW lowers tp per hit (unless rounding stops that) but almost always increase tp gain over time It's like a normal attack round really but with ws mods and possibly even more hits and possibly a non 1.0 ftp on first hit. OH and dualweilding will also allow you to use a more stat oriented offhand weapon to increase your dmg even more. "a lot" is subjective, that's all i meant. and i'm not really sure what the increase is like because the jobs i single wield, i single wield, and the jobs i dw, i dw-- so i don't really look at the difference in tp return between dw/single.
and jebus, how stupid do you guys think i am? >_> Ramuh.Lorzy said: "a lot" is subjective, that's all i meant. and i'm not really sure what the increase is like because the jobs i single wield, i single wield, and the jobs i dw, i dw-- so i don't really look at the difference in tp return between dw/single. and jebus, how stupid do you guys think i am? >_> Less than me XD Ok then by alot I mean generally speaking 50-80% more.

To figure out how much faster your tp gain would be meleeing would need alot more info yeah but dw increased tp gain over time etc....
i don't really have a second club, i'd need to get virtue stones lol. So in question to the str/atk thing over mind(I know pages ago). According to the OP post and reports, he was saying that his damage was lowering as you where swapping out str/atk for better mind modifiers. It was talked about but the op said his ws went from 2.5k to 1.5k which would be the wrong way to go. On rdm I see way more yield off enhancing my atk or str on death blossom then I do on mind and that suppose to be a 50% modifier(its also only a 3hit ws). Also, since this is a 6hit ws wouldn't you see greater returns damage wise from adding more str/atk then mind? I mean its not like the mind and str are at 60% or 50% here there are only 20%.I'm not saying loose 13 mind for 2 str and 5atk, but at what point is mind>str(8mind=5str? for instance just an example) in this terms of this ws. I never got into ws math until recently and try to learn when I can.
winged mace goooooooooo. Well nice delay/dmg anyways
sea robber cudgel nice offhand too. Though obviously beaten by trial ones. i didn't say i wanted one, i just said i didn't have one :P and *** sea robber cudgel
The number of hits doesn't really change the relationship between str stat mods or att.
As far as hexastrike goes as long as fstr is capped str and mnd add the same amount to base dmg but str will add a little bit to attack which if you aren't capping Cratio (you probably aren't unless you are farming or getting help) then will be slightly better. It's really hard to compare stuff like att to anything else really since how much it does is so variable. But I'd say 8mnd ~6ish str a decent enough thing to use assuming capped fstr and you have decent att to begin with. If your attack kinda sucks well str will get stronger because of the att it adds. Even more so for non critting ws Bismarck.Josiahfk said: Bahamut.Dasva said: winged mace goooooooooo. Well nice delay/dmg anyways sea robber cudgel nice offhand too. antares is acceptable too! Wouldn't the OaT 2-4 naboot +2 be better than a STR club for Offhand?
Oh I was just assuming he didn't want to do trials just to make a DD club lol.
Also really you can't beat kitty rod Bahamut.Dasva said: Oh I was just assuming he didn't want to do trials just to make a DD club lol. Also really you can't beat kitty rod Now that's a winner but i don't have a kitty rod or antares so prudence it is!
and dasva thinks i'm a guy, wtf Ramuh.Lorzy said: but i don't have a kitty rod or antares so prudence it is! and dasva thinks i'm a guy, wtf But since you are implying you aren't... Hey baby wanna be my belated valetine? Edit: Omg you are in Teamnub how is it I don't know/remember you!?! |
