PLD brew how?
what ws do pld brew with? or can a pld even brew as good as other jobs?
Sanguine Blade! 1 of the best brew WS cause of the capped MAB.
Cataclysm (better), Sanguine Blade (slightly worse).
I wouldn't take a PLD for Rani, though.

Sanguine blade really that good? how much dmg?
Sanguine can do decent amounts of damage, nowhere near Cataclysm numbers though.

Besides, a PLD Catabrewing isn't different from a MNK catabrewing.
MNK is indeed the better all-purpose job though.

well a pld in our ls wants to brew atm, and he's wondering what ws's to use, and he has no other job 75+, how much does sang blade do?

Sanguine Blade will kill any NM very easily aside from Rani and perhaps other caturae. Even Shinryu which apparently takes 50% dark damage shouldn't be that much of an issue. If it is though, you should also have earth crusher which will fair much better against cats and shinryu.
Cataclysm may or may not be better, I have no idea, but it'll have the same issue as sanguine blade on cats and shin, so it doesn't really matter. To make it even easier, get cosmos/ultimate/some other MAB atma.

i will, but that still leaves my answer unanswered, i personally have all jobs 90 but 30k away from next brew, think he could brew 2 orthus np?

If you have all jobs at 90 why you using pld?
Also for cata (or any ws you can perform while equipping a 2hd weapon) you should use griffin claw over a last MAB atma. Also tp bonus atma will probably do better than MAB as well for cata since tp effects dmg alot.

2 things.
1: Don't let ppl make you think you're as bad at games as they are. If you can't win with a brew, it's not the job, it's you.
2: I recommend brewing with herculean slash using beyond / baying moon / Griffin claw. You should be hitting in the 20k range with that.

just have the pld use a club or staff?
Haven't brewed anything on PLD, but I did decide to take on Shinryu on my blu cause I was bored. Each Sanguine Blade I did rang in roughly around 10k each time, so with capped stats and such that's probably round what you'll be looking at if you go with MAB atma's and such.

If you are looking to solo brew Shin, pld is not a bad choice during blunt hours (obviously there is better, but still, not bad). Can cover a good chunk of blue!
