I wanna continue bring up my crafts in general (I have 50 Cooking)


Which crafts in general the the least expensive to the most expensive? which are the top 5 profit making Crafts?


Looking to expand what im able to do in the game.

Goldsmithing=the most expensive(or atleast was pre abby)

fishing then cooking would be least expensive. Don't think any of them are awesome on money except sometimes new synergy recipes.... actually take that back synergy might be cheaper than cooking.

Most of the money makers seem to be stuff that makes a little or gouging when new stuff comes out. Of course food is always in demand and doesn't get outdated the same way so people will always buy it. Especially as bad as peoples acc can be from abyssea burning jobs lol

Profit is hard now as most people can do what you can... I mainly do it for fun.

Cooking seems to be a good one to level along with fishing as you can fish up a lot of your materials and you can have both of them at level 100.

I have been working on getting all of them to 60 and also slowly leveling goldsmihting. I am at 68 gold now. So far I have found that having a variety of them to 60 helps a lot when trying to get one to 100.
I farm a lot with my THF and combine crafting with farming to make pretty good profit. I use lightning crystals all the time to desinth things that most people just toss away or sell to the NPC and can triple my money doing just that. My mog hansment is set up for desynth.

I found ways to save money leveling up crafts by farming materials as well as making them myself. Although sometimes it is easier to farm for things that sell quickly and take the profits to by the materials rather than to try and farm the actual ingredient you need for skill up.

I don't know what happened to other crafts, but the last 6 months has made finishing my GS totally realistic. Elemental ores are dirt cheap and plentiful, and profitable to cut - that right there takes care of the worst part of gold hell. High level stuff is cheaper to make too - GS is definitely nowhere near as expensive to level as it used to be.

Of course, just synthing isn't that profitable anymore for most crafts - definitely look into leveling your synergy too. That's where the money's at right now.

Gil doesn't really mean what it used to. The economy is kinda ruined with most the good stuff being ra/ex and all of it buyable and ra/ex alike getting outdated or at least much easier to get all the time. No one really wants to invest 8 mil in a thew bomblet just to see it worth 50k a 2 months anymore.

Heck you could buy gil if you really wanted since it's like dirt cheap now. Possibly the cheapest it's ever been
