AF3+2 5/5 - what is your proc rate?
For those of you that are 5/5 on your +2 gearsets, what is your estimated process rate on your gear's set: ability?

Funny. I thought it was Empyrean Armor, not AF3. I got some Moogle Storage Slips for Empyrean Armor (and +1) and Relic. None of them say AF3, AF3+1 or AF2...

I'm 5/5 on BLM AF3+2.. but I can't seem to get Conserve MP to kick in all that often. I think I've only seen 1 or 2 instances the past few days. Pretty much doubles damage though.
Maybe I need to toss in a few more Conserve MP pieces.. /shrug.

I'd have to put 5/5THF+2 around 5~7%.

People like you are just the worst type of person. AF3 is a lot shorter then empyrean. Empyrean is generally the word used for the weapons, and relic is the same. And you know damn well what they meant, your just acting like an *** cake for no reason.

BLM 5/5 around 5% but not dont much testing
I don't have 5/5 but with 2 it took 86ish cast to get 1 proc on blu af3+2 so I'd venture it is probably 8-10% on full set not like any 2 peices are good for the same spell... which means it's pretty much worthless especially considering how often you cast vs triple attack and such
I don't really watch for it or anything but with MNK 5/5 +2 the 2nd kick is rare. I would say 5% sounds about right, but thats a very rough estimate.
Would agree about 5/5 MNK. Not common at all, I've seen it proc a few times. If all the sets proc the same, then there is a thread on the WAR forums where someone has posted some tests of WAR +2 set proc rate. The sample set may have been fairly small though.
Eijin tested the War set here, looks to be 3-4% with 4/5.
No numbers on 5/5, but there's never an excuse to wear 5/5 on War, so nothing of value was lost.

if im not mistaken @ vanafest 2010 they coined the term "AF3" there, when they announced the abyssea expansions. iirc it was from their info feed that was on the website. but what i can confirm is that you like to EA+2 all day. and by EA i mean

You just didn't notice it. Conserve mp is 25% base proc rate. Just cuz you got a Conserve mp proc doesn't mean you get a set proc too. In my calculations each conserve mp +1 raises your average dmg bei 0,1%. Not worth it.

Even then that atma wouldn't win damage wise imo. Even if thats like superior conserve mp. Lets say it gave 50. That is 10% more proc rate for set bonus. Average damage boost is 50%. 10%*50*=5% average damage increase. Idk :/ Would be nice for the occasionally high numbers and good for mp .. but well.. meh
Sorry I picked the wrong one I edited the atmas. Also conserve mp isn't just about the dmg. It might allow you to get away with say not using MM.

Idk, it is prolly just 10 conserve mp if its minor but I guess we can hope. If it's 50 conserve mp for fetching footpad then you should have around 75 conserve mp. That is like 22% less mp cost in average if i'm not wrong. I really doubt that will make up for the loss of 10 refresh :/. Not to forget you lose 50 int in damage too aaand enmity!

I don't think proc-rates on any AF3 are worth aiming for. If you're already using a couple pieces of +2 for certain spells/ws/whatever, and it's not going to effect that spell much by putting on one or two more, then *maybe* it'd be worth it...

Ah, you're right. I forgot that just because conserve mp procs doesn't automatically mean the set procs too.
