I mean... if I pay that much and I only play it once.... I feel like I wasted so much money.
idk, I paid 20 or 30 dollars for Dark Souls and have spent hundred of hours playing it. It's not for everyone, but I found the experience to be extremely rewarding.
These fine tuned AAA games like AC3, Halo4, RE6, skyrim... they are good games but I don't spend that much time playing them. I get bored...
I don't like getting bored playing a game :\ I don't think it's okay to get bored when I spent 60 dollars to get it.

Gotta also realize 60 dollars US =/= 90 in Sweden's currency (sorry idk what it is Drac), so that figure he gave you might not be as steep a price tag as you might first guess.

Gotta also realize 60 dollars US =/= 90 in Sweden's currency (sorry idk what it is Drac), so that figure he gave you might not be as steep a price tag as you might first guess. I think games over there do cost a lot more than what we have to pay.

I've been giving the upcoming Devil May Cry the stink-eye. I loved the first one for PS2, but haven't kept up with any of the other games much -- can't help but imagine that it's stayed true to the hack-slash-fest genre though. @___@

I personally think it's mainly because of online play now.
They put so much into online features that the story goes down the drain.
I haven't played previous halo games, but the story was super short in 4. I haven't played a game that short in a long long time. Then you start looking into online play and it's obvious that they put most of their effort into it.

RE6 was a birthday present (<3), so I can't complain about the cost. I haven't even beaten(as in completed all the story lines) it yet, but I've enjoyed what I have played. My sister and I have a lot of fun running around on Merc mode. Everyone has their thing though. :x

I was wondering why everyone was giving DMC so much hate so I started to watch a playthrough of it on yotuube and it looks really fun. To me the story is interesting, the main character isn't that bad, and the combat seems great so far. I like the combo system and that you have different weapons to choose from like Darksiders II (actually the mechanics are basically the same as well as some of the moves like the scythe).
I think it would be a cool game to play, but again I don't know anything about DMC before this game so I'd understand if they completely ruined it for the loyal fans.

Up to the 2nd to last fight in WotG!!!! Been soloing the whole story since mission 8 and having a blast. Hopefully I can finish the story tomorrow and get my earring :D. Time for some sleep. Take care everybody.

I tried the demo of DmC, I don't hate the reboot, there are actually a few pretty interesting things about it,
though like everyone else, I still prefer the older version for some reason or another. (demo even made me wanna pop in my DMC4 disc and play it again lol)

The hate is more-so the fact that they made the main character some kid that looks nothing like their God that which was Dante. Oh, and apparently the battle music has drifted off into some sort of weird type of metal, instead of the intense chaotic fighting music that was in its predecessors.
Don't get me wrong though, the music is pretty decent. Example:

I'm not a retard, I converted to dollars. Collector's editions go for over 100 dollars easily.

Also, I think if you beat DMC on the hardest mode (you have 1 HP and enemies have normal HP) you get the old Dante character model to play with.

but yea, DMC and Darksiders II are so alike, and I loved DS II. I might pick it up just to play because of that.

Games for a system that isn't region locked can be imported though. I pay 67 dollars for games from Canada and get them within a few days and that's with shipping. Save a lot of money that way.

I might look at playthroughs of them though just to know the story, but if I do pick up DMC I wand to keep an open mind and not have expectations of what it should be like and why it's wrong.
I wish I could say that about FF games >.>; I judge them so unfairly now

Yeah but they all kinda gave me the same feeling when playing them and 13 just didn't do that.
