Yeahhhh how about you pay the bit extra.... You'll see noticbly cooler temps than the low quality CM junk and it will be a lot quieter.

I was considering water cooling, but they're still rather overpriced compared to equally efficient, and likely equal in noise air coolers

What I showed CNT is a mid level.
The NH-D14 is the best performer that is higher than an H60/80 and more around the level of a H-100.
That's what I use and I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it.
So quiet.
A liquid cooled pre-built would be louder than that unless you change the fans to Noctua fans which will cost you $40 extra.

That corsair 650D was built by TinyTomLogan from OC3D. He is a god in custom builds. Also TTL is short for Time To Live Customs which was the youtube series he had building custom machines. He has tons of youtube vids....tons showing his builds. I can tell that pic is from him because the OC3D colored wall and his typical pic taking angle.

And when I was building I read 1366 runs hot enough as is.
I wish I had 1155, I hear its so noob friendly to OC.

With your cooler, you should be able to hit 3.8 - 4.0 on your 960. Mine can go farther then 3.5, just I have a stock heatsink and it sucks XD

Sooo...I had this dream last night, felt like it lasted for ages.

I was sleeping and Ovr busts in the room, telling me I'm in labor and we gotta go. Then he tells me oh it's too late, you have to have the baby at home. I freak out but he does a great job helping and we have a healthy baby boy. The kid isn't even dry yet and Ovr's telling me I better get to PLing him. Um, what? He says if I don't PL the baby high enough for abyssea, he's calling DCFS on me. Okay, fine...

Boobsmasher, our child's character, dings 30 and Ovr tells me I PLd the wrong job, rdm is for noob douches etc etc, he's calling DCFS because I purposefully embarrassed our son in a public something something, idk. He gets on the phone, the cops show up and haul me to jail. I see a judge almost instantly and she sends me to prison for life because I lvld my kid's rdm and rdm is for noobs. I get to prison and my cell mate is a really kind lady, I can't imagine someone like her ever being in prison, so I ask her wtf she did.

"Made my daughter level pup."

The only thing you need to pause a game for is to adjust the sound or graphics quality.

That is something I see games doing right recently is removing the ability to pause to organize your menu or look through your items. The scary dragon isn't going to stop and wait for you to put all of your elemental resist gear on then put back on -dmg taken gear or w/e the case may be, it's going to bite you and shake you around while you fumble in the menu.

I like that, go into a battle prepared instead. If I'm facing a dragon that does earth dmg I'm going to raise my earth resist before or learn from my mistake after I die horribly.

I guess I just like things a certain way /shrug

Hey, I like pup! I don't care much for rdm, but I don't look at any job really as an loljob. 2 nights ago, I had a dream I walked into dunkin donuts and killed everyone in there with an icicle, so idk wtf is going on.

That's probably one of my favorite atmospheres; the inability to stop unless you find a sanctuary. Dark Souls and Dead Space (1&2) seriously hit the ball home for me there, and both are easily my favorite games this generation.

So yeah, srsly, how are people doins?
