You don't use it to make ice cream freeze faster.
You do it to adjust the texture in which it's at while frozen because it doesn't freeze as thoroughly.

At least that was always my understanding. But hell I could be way off too.

Different tastes :P I've met a lot of tall guys that didn't like small girls, makes them think they're dating a child. The height difference just makes it look silly

salt/sand the roads because it gives a sliperry surface some texture so cars don't crash everywhere.

salt in ice cream to give it some flavor and lower freezing point and texture? iono

I don't think the average for the heavy +'ers will go past 250 a day.

Maybe not at 1000 but we already had the same thing when it was 25 then just cleared 100 so that topic has already had 2 comings. That said I wouldn't be surprised if it does come up.

Milk doesn't freeze at 32ºf adding salt to it creates a brine that is near 0ºf but doesn't cause solid state freezing like water does.
