An example would be the melody to "Crossing those hills" in IX follows the same musical score as Melodies of Life.
Julia and Love Grows also made allusions, following the melody of Eyes on Me, later displayed at the end of the title.
10 had countless field tracks that tied in with the Hymn of the Fayth, even before it was introduced or made knowledge of. Which sadly had no little to no tie in or relevance to Suteki da Ne.

I'm quite vocal about how much I hated the alpha, so I won't repeat myself, but yeah...it was trash to me. I didn't log in a lot after a certain point. I logged in enough to submit a ton of feedback, like I was supposed to, but I didn't log in beyond that to have "fun" because the alpha client really sucked to me.

Now I have to ask. What didn't tickle your fancy? I thought the leves where a touch shallow and the game runs not so well with SLI (But what does honestly I swear.)
I liked the cleaned up UI and I have to admit I liked the faster combat. While not liking the whole full TP thing but if you where fighting enough you would run out which was kind of annoying.
