Out of curiosity did you find they made her less of a *** in the show? Only read the first 2 books and seen season 1 so far but I definitely got a different vibe from her in the show.

Yeah the game is kinda random that way, one of the bosses you will get drops when they die but they also drop a ring on the ground to pick up... I just assumed they were smoking the same stuff when deciding how things drop as when they designed the Gaping Dragon.

Karl Urban has a nice dramatic range--he played Eomer in LOTR and Dr. McCoy in the recent Star Trek. :p

Well yeah, but with the helm on and all you see is that Stallone 'smile' it's a bit weird :O Also i'm pretty biased when it comes to action movies and the 'tough guys'
Ended up liking him, but my favorite was still Mama ._.

LOL the bad guys do make the movie for sure, but I liked that it was true to the comic moreso than the Stallone version (in the comic book he is never shown without his helmet, LOL, as a running gag.)

Don't know the comics and never watched the original Dredd, so it was quite weird for me :< I'm not really an action movie person, but ended up really loving the way this movie was made.
Actually liked that he never took off the helm too x3

Honestly, I got bored, and I have yet to pick up the first book again, unfortunately. I might try at another time.

I just like that she is cunning, but recognized where she dropped the ball in many situations. Really harsh realizations, but she is ruthlessly and tenaciously devoted to her family. (I like a good villain too sometimes.)

I like Arya, because who wouldn't want to root for the quirky, little tom-boy?!? She's fun! A little smart-*** who is constantly learning on her little adventure.

Danny...I can't really get behind. Her story is way to cliche for me. A young woman finds her true self and inner strength. Blah...Blah...Blah...
