It wasn't that bad once he helped me. Aby mobs with regain atmas and embrava, he held them on PLD and aoe'ed them down for me. But of course a KC would help. xD

You can change what you want to be w/e you want, they really are used for getting an early start on a certain build so you can get more out of your levels.

You can do that fine, plenty of people enjoy playing the ideal role of the the class limiting their weapon choices to what would actually work for that class.
It's up to you what you want to be, the game lets you do anything you want really.

You can make your character into anything... classes are really only useful in the beginning of the game. Pyromancer is a good starting class since the effectiveness/power of pryomancy isn't effected by int or faith.
