A great way to build confidence is to pretend you already do, be what you want to be type mindset. I was never confident growing up but exuding it anyway helped me find a couple really great girls since then which in turn really grew my confidence to a healthier level, growing alongside them.

Yeah, that's probably the big 'un. But to me, I honestly feel like if I have a little bit of green in the wallet, I'll just feel a bit more confident. It's odd, I know. But honestly right now I need to concentrate more on the school stuff. Love will come later. Y'know, unless I get sidewinded by it randomly.
That's actually a real good way to look at it. I know my confidence got a lot higher after I looked at my bank statement after Boot camp... Really need to start my IRA.

I'm kind of in the exact same boat and just now finally going back to school, so I feel ya, but ***I'm sure not getting any younger >_<
That's the other thing. I would like to have a family at some point in my life, preferably when I'm still spry enough to chase after my two year olds. I'm starting to turn into my father, though. He didn't have my older brother until he was in his 30s. So now he's 65ish, and he can't keep up with his two year old niece.

Actually their swimmers develop issues, too.
