Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Drama is a plague that needs to be rid from this reality.
Okay, so I played a demo of XIII-2 for the first time, and I couldn't last even 2 minutes without rage quitting after I heard the moogle's voice. Childhood ruined.
I think I need a drink... or three. My room mate is still laughing over my reaction. Apparently it was priceless. Ok so I am definitely getting the Asian version that has Japanese and English on it, think also Chinese because some reviews of the game I have read stated what you just mentioned. It's that bad? I literally threw my friend's MW3 controller on the ground in anger. It was perhaps the most alienating feeling I've ever experienced. Moogles should not sound like a teenage girl having an orgasm while saying "Kupo". Everybody I showed Sagi's x-mas card to, cracked up. Thank you mr. subligar. That ***was priceless lol.

Well, Narshee, if you did it, thanks man. Sagi, that's a job well done if it was you :D.
Well, that seems to be the way of things as of late. For instance, a few months ago there was that video of the guy that took a shotgun to his daughter's laptop or something along those lines. This feels less harsh as that example, but that seems to be the current trend with discipline and social internet fads.
Ragnarok.Prefalin said: » Seems the whole sign punishment thing is becoming the new trend >.> ![]() Ledgers of humiliation have become a popular trend of punishment for pets and the internet, and is relatively acceptable as pets have very faint understandings of human fundamentals in expected behavior and traditions. Doing it with people however, is a bit much. Though I can see why the parents did take that course of action, and it is a lesson hard learned for that kid. Personally, I think it is a bit much, but alas, I was not able to see how much of a rotten ***he was with his alleged disrespect. I suppose sometimes it takes something dramatic and humiliating like this to humble certain people. Hmm, went to play Skyrim on PS3, decided to check out online store for expansion... not there, but Mass Effect Trilogy was... don't have it so bought <,< downloading it all! 33 gigs... 7400 minutes remain o.O;
It's a fad that needs to stop then. That ***is horrible. A shotgun to the laptop? Wtf. That's just throwing away somebody's money too. Way to also not teach your kid the value of a hard earned buck. Moron parents. Just make the kid do extra chores to appreciate what they got? Don't do some stupid ***like that and then post it on the internet. That's terrible. Way to scar the kid.
It's the parents trying to get attention for how edgy their discipline is.
I really hope the kid actually deserved it and they weren't just looking for facebook likes. Odin.Eikechi said: » It's a fad that needs to stop then. That ***is horrible. A shotgun to the laptop? I'll dig up my old rant if you want me to. Not necessary Art. I think some punishment is fine, hell I encourage it. But that crosses the line and it's counterproductive (especially the shotgun to the laptop example Mag gave).
I mean yeah I could understand a punishment in order to learn value of a dollar, and that some are less fortunate etc etc. And lost my train of thought :|
My mistake, it was actually a handgun. Remember this?
Kids need to learn humility. That's just part of growing up, and if it sticks, they won't turn out to be spoiled brats. But like with everything, there are extremes. I'm not saying I condone stuff like this, because that's just messed up. But this internet discipline thing is getting pretty out of hand. Don't use the internet to make a damn point. The world doesn't need to see how you discipline your children. You're welcome to look back on the previous events and put in your two cents. Here's mine. Also such a thing was beyond the principle of money or ownership. It was about respect and knowing what is and is not acceptable behavior among family and others. Odin.Eikechi said: » Not necessary Art. I think some punishment is fine, hell I encourage it.
