Schizm, I'm not sure it's even a joke. I haven't played Wii U, but that might just be a Wii U exclusive track for Tekken Tag 2, because it does have exclusive costumes (like Kazuya Mario and junk).
It was me taking a shot at the Wii U because the system is notorious for ungodly load times. At first it seemed to be a problem with certain games but has become apparent that it is a problem with the system itself. Combine that with the fact that the Wii U is now on-par with the current consoles and you can't help but feel like this is a console that came out about 6 years after it should have.

on-par? I've read the exact opposite, and I heard it's hardware is better than even the PS3 atm. It has bad load times? I didn't hear that either. *shrug*
It doesn't even feel like a 6 year old system really, it feels even worse. the 360 and PS3 seldom have such excessive load times as the WiiU, and I've never experienced a system in any modern setting that's taken over 20 seconds to go from a game to the main system menu. it isn't really acceptable.

The first arc is really short though, only one Volume of the Light Novel which you could pick up @ baka-tsuki.
Stopped anime after first Arc as well, as everything beyond that felt pointless to me.
.5 chapters are usually just a bonus after story thing and can contain extreme fan service which might be worth a NSFW. Just peek into it and see if that's the case~

Yes you can use externals. Nintendo said that they wanted to leave it up to the user on how much external they wanted you to get, as to not tack on a pricetag to something as simple as storage, since prices for memory are going down, but to have it already installed into the system would cost more, or some jazz. Basically Nintendo didn't want to raise the cost of the console so they allowed users to buy whatever cheap external they felt they would need. I believe this was covered in the Wii U thread.

Is it really that poor of a follow up to contend with anything MS or Sony have up their sleeves? It's disappointing, but not unexpected from Nintendo's typical agenda, but I know I'm going to buy one anyways, simply because I'm a Zelda devotee and always will be ._.

Yeah but I had the PS3 do an install the first time on games and when I rented Prometheus, the PS3 wouldn't play it. Said I needed to update my version to play it, just thought what if someone didn't have net access, that would suck.
Yeah, I find that happens with basically every game you play on PS3. Even games I buy brand new, I have to "update", which I found really really odd.

Pretty lame how certain movies require firmware updates just to watch the damned thing. And usually it is because of some *** online feature that nobody in their right mind would use anyways. I miss the days of plug and play, not this HURRR DURR IT GOES ONLINE AND LINKS TO FACEBOOK devices.
