Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Being a proper noun, whichever way any culture spells it is the correct spelling! No coming back from this one, that's a slam dunk!
![]() What an epic page opening gif! while everyone discuss the correct name for this meal, Ima Om Nom Nom it all away from you. >_>
-hungry- Kinda late but that's not at my place, it's my sister's friend's house lol. Just my dad and I this year but we used to have it like that when my mom was alive since everyone would come here instead.
If it's of any consolation, I live in a very big Italian district where 90% of the English speaking population are Italian. I've never once heard someone call it a "lasagne," nor have I ever heard anyone say they're eating a cannolo, panino ect... The grammar is wrong on most of it but it just flows better, so we say it anyway.

Bismarck.Dreadnot said: » I has slain the abyssal demon. I seriously hate the camera controls in Dark Souls. Is it because you don't like having to control the camera at all times? That it doesn't move for you? I think the controls are fine, just never understood this complaint. Well, if anyone is a master of English, they should be able to read this without a problem.
Misao stop stealing my gifs!
native language of the bible? really?
gotta love propaganda... good clip though. Cannolo and panino would be correct if you're only eating one. But I am aware american people have crippled the language going along with what it sounded better to their foreign ears. It's a phenomenon that has happened everywhere between different cultures and that eventually leads to an evolution of the language(in this case an evolution of american english, not italian).
Siren.Kalilla said: » sagi what colors do they come in? Subligars can come in all colours of the rainbow! We use pigment from animal skin and plants to dye the materials used in contruction. The most popular is brilliant white as everybody wants a Sagi subligar replica! Yuna's Psychic outfit is hawt <3

It amazed me when learning French just how much of the English language originates from it. Then I was even more amazed when I thought about how much we've butchered the words that were incorporated into English... Siren.Kalilla said: » Quote: Lasagna vs. lasagne For the flat, wide pasta and the dish made from such pasta, North American English speakers use lasagna. English speakers from outside North America usually use lasagne. Other than the spelling, there is no difference between the words in English. The word comes from Italian, of course. In that language, lasagna is the singular noun and lasagne is the plural. The word first appeared in English in the 19th century, but the dish did not become popular in English-speaking countries (the U.S. first, then elsewhere) until the second half of the 20th century. Yeah, pretty sure the bible was originally in ancient Hebrew or some other impossible gibberish. I doubt if English was even its first translation. And I doubt if any of the translations are 100% correct. But it's a good movie anyhow. ^^ Everyone loves Eliza! Probably a lot of Hebrew as well. Probably some Greek. considering it's a compilation of myths that stole their stories from everywhere else. I get mixed up on all 3 languages, it's hard being Italian living in a French province in an English country lol... Bismarck.Misao said: » FFX has an international ver as well ? Sure does.
