last I checked Wine doesn't support hooking, which Windower needs.
I'd personally dualboot, or in a MAC's case try parallels.
I'd never use the MAC os outside of a VM though, it has no realistic purpose...

I will say though, Linux has come along way since Redhat.
Ubuntu is pretty nice, I can't say I had problems at all and prefer Linux because what I can do with it now.

Oh I've been meaning to give Ubuntu a whirl.
I have 2 slackware VMs and a Debian, and Debian on my Raspberry Pi, and I just installed Debian on a box I'm going to use as a storage server, have 3 3tb drives set up as a raid 5 array.
I don't have samba installed yet, I need to get on that.

Interesting, I'm going to assume that it was just a different video card, but proprietary ***wouldn't surprise me.
