It's not always about looking the same... it's more about looking presentable... Some places do go a little overboard but yeah...
I can understand the dish thing, the grass thing but anything after that ... just seems excessive, i've seen rules that dictate the colour of your house, the type of mailbox you can have, the type of garbage bins you can have... the list goes on...
When your priority is raking up somebody elses leaves, you need to re-evaluate your life.

Yeah, the color thing can go a bit far... sometimes it's just there so you don't have that neon pink house in the fray lol...
The whole thing is that you join these neighborhoods for a certain type of lifestyle... I mean if it's something you don't like or don't want to abide by there's always somewhere else...

Well yeah obviously a hot pink house would ... scare me lol... I'd say just tell people NOT to use that colour instead of limiting them to CERTAIN colours.

If it bothers the guy so much why doesn't he grow a pair and just ask Tiger nicely if he would mind raking them up, or if not, ask if he would mind if he done it for him, rather than being a sly *** about it by dropping hints like a pussy then just assuming he has the right to go about Tigers property.

oh no no I understand completely, rules are OK as long as they aren't stupid or just excessively restrictive.
I don't think where we live we have any rules which is NICE but we still do maintain our lawn (well kinda ... our sprinkler system is *** up so we have some brown patches :( )

^ if I saw someone I didn't know on my lawn (I don't care if he was trying to help out) i'd call the cops immediately.
If the guy has that much of an issue it should either be taken up in the township meetings or whatever or dealt with face to face.

Why not just ask, it's a cowardly way of trying to get somebody to do something, drop a hint fine, but if you don't ask you don't get. Just do it with some tact and empathy.
