I still remember when I was dating a Japanese girl and she thought she was pregnant so we were discussing names. I said that I wanted to name my son Duo and if I had a daughter Faye. She flipped her ***saying when couldn't name them after characters blah blah blah. Finally I asked her what she would named them...

and we'd both be wearing a red and white shirt.
And so when they call the order out. we want to freak the announcer out and be like "Order for Ken and... Ryu?"

My family specializes in awkward names. I have an ancestor named Aloha, and in the generation of my nieces and nephews, we have a Keona, Shereen, Raelene, Keegan, Lorelei, and a Avonlea. In my generation, we have a Dessa and a Misty Sky. Yes, you read that correctly-- first name Misty, middle name Sky.
Aloha is still the winner of the familial strange names competition, I think. At least they are all pretty names! It would be awful if they all had awkward names that were bad. Like Pompoopa Ermengarde or something.

I know right! It's ridiculous! "Let's see here, everyone gets a cool name... except this one! We'll name her Steph!" Seriously. To add insult to injury, most of them are redheads, with a few scattered brunettes. Do I get pretty red hair? LOLno. Blonde. >.> I must have been in the shallow end of the gene pool or something!
