To me, I think he's just about to go after them, but the person who took the picture got the right shot at the right time.

Either that or the dog doesn't like Micky D's. "They're not even from Red Robin? These burger slippers are not worth my time."

I don't go to the doctor much, guess I never noticed how expensive it was. I did go the other night to the ER so now I'm afraid of what that's going to cost.

Taken from work to the ER a couple months ago with severe stomach pain (I couldn't move a single muscle in my body, could barely talk, etc.). It turned out to just be a really bad incident with a kidney stone, but they also found some screwed up stuff with some of the mineral levels in my body (magnesium and potassium), and my heart was showing some weird stuff too. So they kept me over for a couple of days.

You could do a ton of backreading/stalking and find one of my posts in here from while I was there. I did a pretty lengthy play-by-play at one point that described it all.

Just getting a CT scan can run from about $3,500 - $10k...

ER visits... it really depends... can be anywhere from a couple hundred dollars to thousands... My brother went in for kidney stones and then 6-7k later he was done... lol...

Just depends on what you went for. Mine involved a LOT of stuff.

Plus, depending on your income, sometimes you're better off without insurance. My statement from the hospital came with a thing on the back basically saying, "If you make less than x amount, you don't even have to pay this."

Sinus infection and dehydration. They gave me some fluids but nothing else extreme.

I have no income so.. weee! I'm on my parents insurance so I guess I'll let my mom worry about it. D:

Shouldn't be all that expensive with insurance. I went to the ER a few years back and got a bunch of stitches and only paid like $250. I imagine fluids and antibiotic wouldn't even cost that much.

It's going to be pretty interesting how things will be changing over the next decade concerning our healthcare system...

But yeah the ER has to patch you up and then kick you out lol... if you can't foot the bill (and they try to make you pay for it as they'll put a lien on your house or other assets if you have them in some cases) you will be absolved of it...

i generally just put it in a smoothie
